I agree. They are fabulous. I was very interested about a year or so back... But I couldn't get one, can't remember why, not available or not for international shipping... whatever. Now with all the new fangled cheapies that work perfectly straight out of the box, I couldn't be bothered.

But anyway... back to the TWIST.

You can now buy them directly from Bulli in Germany. They'll ship 'em right to your door. And in light of post #154, I think this discussion of the Bulli atty is on-topic.

Lastly, it's one thing to work well straight out of the box, and quite another to keep working well for years on end with very simple maintenance along the way. I'm not a big fan of cartos either, or Stardusts for that matter. I do want to get some Vivi Novas though - tried one tonight and was pretty impressed.

Sorry, all this talk about the Bulli... I just couldn't resist showing off!

Looks pretty nice on the Twist, eh? This is the ultimate in trouble-free and portable vaping, if you ask me.

I think you're conflating PVs and attachments. I think many people would be very happy with a Joyetech Twist fitted with a Bulli atomizer.

Your dissatisfaction with cartos, clearos, or what-have-you-o's does little to change the utility or lack thereof of the Twist as a nice little VV device at a nice little price.

Once again, I agree very strongly with the original post.

Mmmm, huh? It's kind of hilarious how your wording makes the Twist seem like a little brother you occasionally like to take to the park but for the most part ignore. I didn't say I was dissatisfied with the Twist; I had to include it in my vaping history. They were very important in my chain of progression. Of course I'm conflating the PV and the attachment; they're a wholly symbiotic system of nicotine delivery..you can't have one without the other. Perhaps in my above post I could have said that I've used the Twist with Stardust and used them with my 1.7 cartos and my Phoenixes, but the performance of the PV itself didn't change. It's exactly what you said: a nice little device at a nice little price. Considering the shelf life of them, they'd BETTER come at a nice little price.

It's also funny that you agree with the OP (which is great!) but go on to suggest a rebuildable atty and say that people who aren't 'lazy' would get a lot out of them. This may or may not be true, but the spirit of the OP was talking about easy to use and low maintenance PVs for new vapers..which is pretty much the opposite of rebuildables. I've been vaping for over a month and although I know about them, I have no desire to fiddle and faddle and for new(er) vapers, I suspect that'd be almost too much.

Haha, perhaps I am lazy too! :)

I can rebuild a coil and wick on my Bulli faster than I can pull out my credit card and order another Stardust. It's not difficult.

Tez, that looks awesome - thanks for sharing that photo; I was trying to get a good handle on how one would look on a Twist, and I'd hafta say that now I do. :) I'm guessing that's a "B" tank? And how many ohms did you wind up on the coil you're using now? As you already know, that's just one of the advantages of a rebuildable atty - make your own coil whatever resistance you want, within reason of course. It's always seemed counter-intuitive to me that higher resistance gives longer battery life, but then so are a lot of things. Three ohms is said to give quite a bit longer battery life on the Twist (or any other PV really) than say two.

Eric, thanks for that. I've always enjoyed your posts as well. I haven't owned a Vivi Nova yet to really see how it behaves long-term, but it really looks promising. The only thing that bugs me about it is having the coil on top, whereas I have a better feeling about attys at the bottom like on the Joyetech tank systems and the Bulli, and I think the Odysseues as well. Absolutely cannot wait to finally get a Bulli. If it's as good as I think it'll be, I'll email you and brow-beat you into getting one too. :)

And everyone really should see this review from "Steve from Liverpool", just for the fun factor if for no other resaon. This guy is hysterical! (And he does love his Bulli).

Was that on your first try? Or your second? Is it something you could have done that quickly as a new vaper? That's impressive though, hehe.

Yeah, I think all it takes is a little concentration. First one was a failure... second one, success! Probably around 10 minutes or so. I'm at about 5 right now, and I think I could get faster, but the thing's so darn durable, I don't get to practice all that often! Another beauty about it (and anything where you do the coil yourself for that matter) is that you can control the resistance yourself by making more or fewer loops in the coil.

I never heard of the bulli.. I am intrigued. I want to try rebuildables, been patiently waiting for the z atty pro.

Here's everything you could ever possibly want to know about the Bulli A2-T (mine is the A2-TM, which is basically the same thing with a larger tank), and a link to the Bulli-Smoker site.

O-M-G, 169 pages on the Bulli atty. I have just died and gone to heaven. I do love this site, I must say. Thanks so much for sharing that.

Even more on-topic - I'm buying at least 12 Twists tomorrow and am going to start being a vaping/smoking cessation consultant in my spare time. Very much looking forward to getting paid for sitting around and vaping, and talking about vaping. :) All the more reason that for me, the Twist is very, very much a game-changer. What an absolutely fantastic device to start someone out on.

I've been looking at the Bulli too. Little rich for my blood, but am rather fascinated by all the really high end rebuildable attys out there now! and for a dripper... heaven. Lots of them even have good cartridge systems, which I'd have thought was a contradiction a few mos ago.

And THANK YOU whoever it was that said the flavor is better on phoenix than stardusts! lol I've watched a slew of reviews and asked I don't know how many people and noone could tell me one way or the other. Steeljan's phoenix review totally intrigued me, but I'm SO bothered by the flavor muting in clearos that I use filler cartos almost exclusively. Thrilled to know I can invest some of my limited vape dollars to try em, an not be disappointed by flavor. ;)

and dragonbone... cracking up! I have a pink bottom feeder, too! lol Mine is an old goat.. got it here in the PIF swaps (killer, if you guys have never been, but they're strictly swaps, not sales) and I just adore it. Mine is pretty user friendly and not at all messy so it could travel with me, but I'd never drop it in a purse or something in case of mishaps. ;)

And really everytime one of you comments on how much you like the twist, I get another thrill. So glad I'm recommending these! Dying to try one myself!

I just got my twist today. Put a tank on it with a 2.0dc carto in it, started way down at 3.2 and just kept dialing up. WOW is all I can say! I could never get my lavatube to do that! This tank at 4.8 is truly amazing, there's flavor in this juice that I didn't even know was there! And it purdy too...stainless with a tank and a stainless ming drip tip...I'm in heaven right now! Definitely a game changer for me.

Dear Lavatuve

You served me well. I now do not love thee anymore. My new love is thinner and packs easily as much of a punch. It's not you. It's me. We have just been growing apart. I hope we can still be friends. I'll always love you, I'm just not In Love with you any more.. I have met someone else. I'm so, so sorry

Xx

I am excited to try the twist. I ordered 2 matte black and 2 stainless 1000mah yesterday from health cabin. Shipped out today! Very excited to try them.

I never "got" the VV fanaticism until I purchased my V2 Provari in April. Holy guacamole VV is the only way to go! I love LR boges and 4.2-4.3 is my sweet spot on the provari. I realized I did not have a VV back up though if, god forbid, my provari were to fail me. I ordered the twists to provide a back up x 4 (lol) that could get me by until my provari hold be fixed or a new one shipped out. Also figured the twist is more practical for work. I kind of worry about my provari in my scrubs pocket, especially if I am up to my elbows in poop or if I am doing chest compressions on someone. I won't worry as much with the twist.

I will report back my thoughts after I try them out next week!!

I carry my twist in my scrub top pocket ... I think you'll find it's quite long. Quite a bit longer than the KGO I used to carry, especially of you've got an xxl carto on it. And I would imagine quite a bit longer than a provari. Not a deal breaker for me though. I'm a lab rat & don't have all that much bending over patients (some, but not a lot). The only scrub top pocket I've ever had a problem with is the side slit pockets. Darn thing comes real close to hitting the floor with those style of pocket. I think even though you own a "Cadillac" you'll be pleasantly surprised with your new "Chevy".
