Actually they are right. See it grabs onto whatever water it can. When you fire the newly saturatedwick its still grabbing some water from the air. When you blow on it more is coming in contact with it so it makes more vapor same as when you inhale. If something is hygroscopic then that's just how it works

Yeah but 64 ounces of it? How much water does it grab? If you vape one milliliter how much does 1 milliliter absorb? Assume a 1 to 1... that would 1,800 and some change milliliters to vape.

All one needs is their daily intake of water.. which includes fruits and vegetables.. If you more active, then of course more water.

okay.... this is for those who believe vaping dehydrates the user...

how much water can VG/PG take out of your system??
how many ml of juice do you go thru in a day?
and how much water do you feel you need per day now that you are vaping... or lets put it this way, how much more water are you drinking because you vape compared to when you didnt vape?

for example: you vape 10 ml and you say you need an extra 2 liters of water since you vape...
if thats the case then you are implying that the VG/PG has an ability to adsorb 200+ times its volume in water in about 3-8 seconds ( the time it is inside you being exposed to the moisture)

This is for those that discount dehydration, VG is a diuretic.

Yeah if you drink it!

I'm firmly in the "dry mouth Yes, full body dehydration, No" camp. There are several bodily systems that are bypassed when you inhale vapor as opposed to ingesting it.

By that logic I could crush and snort a couple of ex-lax and it would have the same effect as if I were to swallow it with an 8 oz glass of water.
i.e.: me running people over to get to the bathroom!

I guess I don't understand your logic. The urinary system is total different than the digestive system.

They go to the same place. They both go to your stomach, after ingestion, where they are broken down and then absorbed through the intestines then sent off through the body to the different systems.

Inhaling vapor bypasses all those systems.

Maybe ex-lax was the wrong choice. As swallowing VG is a common constipation aid. Not used as a diuretic.

How about this: if you a crushed and snorted a Diruex pill, would it have the same effect?

Using your example, after digestion it is carried through out the body in the blood stream where it is filtered by the kidneys and excreted as urine. A more direct route into the blood stream is through the lungs.

I thought it helped stop the toxicity of nicotine from building up in your mouth and throat. I do notice when I do not drink water I get dry mouth and also I salivate while sleeping, something I did not do before vaping. Its horrible! I wake up when no fluids drank with a pillow full of spit, I have pillow covers in my nightstand just for that reason..

Maybe its just me getting elder as I did look it up and they say it happens as you age but I don't believe thats why in my case because I literally never have in my life before vaping..
