Why are they called analogs?

It's a play on words. Electronics are considered digital. So e-cigs are digital cigs and the predecessor to digital is analog.

Why are they called analogs?

Don't feel bad it took me about 2 hours of staring at the word analogs before I get the play on words and I am a bit of a computer geek. It's sad...lol

haha, I pretty much picked up on it the moment I was reading discussion on the forums. It does make sense (i can see how it may throw/confuse people though), even if ecigs aren't actually digital in any computing way.

I picked it up when I first started out on ECF. It took me a few weeks to abandon it. Now, I just call 'em what they are, cigarettes.
