This is kind of a weird question. I am currently vaping a local store made juice, a fruit loop flavor. I really like fruit loop flavor juices and this one is pretty good. Ive noticed though, during the day this juice seems a touch harsh but in the evening hours, especially when im getting ready for bed, it is smooth and wonderful and ill vape constantly for a good hour or more because it is so good before i put it up and go to sleep. Cant figure for the life of me why this is so. Any ideas?

Could be the minty toothpaste does not go well with my vape juices.
Try orange flavor juice

I know for me my vape never tastes quite right until I have at least a little coffee in the morning. Could be the minty toothpaste does not go well with my vape juices.
Yes. I have found that my vape tastes different after brushing my teeth. It does taste better after coffee as well.

It could be the you and many others vape in slightly different ways at different times or situations. Early in my vape journey I was very happy vaping at home with an old smok mtl tank but at work and outdoors in general it just didn't seem to put out as much vape or be as satisfying in general. Could be the difference between standing, sitting upright and straight, or laying back on a couch or in bed. Positioning affects breathing. Perhaps you are taking a slightly different pull and it makes the vape seem different to you.
Mentioned above, could be the different things you are exposed to in your environment, like fresh air or particular smells, food, drink.
    Very interesting....
Hmm it's just about time for this juice's peak flavor hour....

Juice perception varies for me. I find that my palate changes throughout the day. If I eat or drink citrus like orange juice, fruit, or something with lemon flavor it enhances the taste of my juice. There's always times when my taste buds just don't cooperate.

Coffee is a great palate cleanser. Taste testers will wash their mouth out with it between tasting things, so it only makes sense that you would see a difference in the taste of your juice after drinking some coffee.

I agree with others that the juice sitting in the wick on the coil over night could be a contributing factor. It may also have to do with ambient air temps. During the day it is warmer so that plus the coil temp is just enough to push the flavor into harsh territory, then at night when ambient temps drop a bit you hit the sweet spot. Perhaps drop the wattage you vape at during the day just a bit and see if that helps.

I too have found the first morning vape to be a bit harsh - with different flavours having different levels of harshness. I have 2 tobacco juices that I try to stick to first thing in the morn. 1 is a RY4 blend and the other is actually called “Morning Tobacco” from a Canadian company called Dr Fog - it is a blend of tobacco, chocolate and coffee

Many foodies and wine tasters inhale the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans to cleanse the palate prior to sampling. Not sure how much of an effect brewed coffee will have in comparison, but I’m sure there are some sort of palate cleansing properties.

Maybe it is just me, but I prefer vaping at a lower wattage setting earlier in the day, say 25 - 30 watts. As the day goes on, I usually adjust the wattage up to 30 - 35 watts. That might not seem to make a huge difference to many vapers, but to me its a huge difference.

This is why I think variable wattage was a game changer for me. I can easily change my setting on the fly. Sometimes my vape may be slightly harsh, so I'll lower the wattage setting, and then its not so harsh. Other times I'll sense that the vape is on the weak side, so I'll increase the setting.

I don't know what "your' particular "why" is but for me, if I do one too much of a good thing, like coffee tastes great with vape "at first" but if I overdo it everything gets kind of meh. If I take vaping breaks during the day that tends to improve things (for me) and etc., but also, I do like the flavor of a freshly filled tank and that may be a plausible reason, that I have topped off with "fresh" juice, etc.

Frankly this is one of the reasons I have several tanks (of varying quality) with different juices - some desert style ones go really well in the morning with coffee but taste too cloying too vape all day. Other fruity ones are good I find for during the day on breaks, and so on.

I just bought a lemon merangue juice though and that seems to tick the boxes for all occasions as it's sweet but also quite tart. At different parts of the day I notice the sharp lemon flavour a lot more than at other times. Frankly after years of smoking I'm just grateful to taste anything again

I do something similar to this but I use Temperature Control. mtl in the mornings, depending on the device or juice can vary between 18-25 watts. In the afternoon single coils RDA 35-40watts. In the evening Pyro RDTA 85-88watts. Seems to work well for me. I do like the coffee in the mornings with my vape, it just taste soooo good. :D:D:D

I vape my bravo rta at a steady 65w. I work from 1015am til 645 pm. I only get 3 breaks and spend a total amount of about 30 mins through the work day vaping. This is when the juice tastes harsher, and it may be that im outdoors on breaks. At the moment, its 915pm here and im stretched out on the bed. The vape is not harsh at all. Its right enjoyable at the moment. I can tell though that its getting close to time to change the wicks. But i dont believe the wicks are the contributing factor here with this little paradox.
