And I thought every 3 - 4 day was a lot. My all day vape I use NI-200 so I have to re-coil too. I feel better now.

Well I used to wash my tanks every day then I got lazy and started doing it every 2 days. Sometimes I will wait 3 days but depends on how lazy I'am. I like change in my juice and if you use tanks you have to wash them out for the new flavor. Well you don't have to but the flavor will carry over :)

When vaping unflavored, I change wicks every month, whether they need it or not. (usually don't)
I do wash my drip tip every day tho...:thumb:

My son vapes near unflavored and his wicks and coils last at least a month. I've tried to go non-flavored but just can't do it.

I've gone back to GenStyle tanks...single coil, single wick. I'm using only one wick hole only in the deck and use Rayon for wick material.

I make a very long wick and stuff most of it into the tank. 1/2" to 3/4" comes out of the tank and through the coil. I let the wick extend about an 1/8" beyond the coil. When the wick starts to darken or get funky, I pull 1/4" or so of the wick from the open end of the coil and trim as necessary. If the coil begins to accumulate gunk, I can pull it out of the coil from the tank hole side and do a quick dry burn. It's usually easy to reinsert the wick into the coil. If need be, pull it through an extra 1/4" or so and trim. So, I have more or less fresh wick always at the ready if needed. The amount of time between advances of the wick varies with the particular juice, coil makeup and power.

Using a single wick like this on a deck with more than one hole benefits from have the extra hole(s) plugged. I found the cut off tip of silicone caps used with needle tip bottles (you know, those that have the collar around the bottle cap and flexible band to the 1/2" or so long needle cap) work well to plug the extra hole in the deck of my atomizers. I leave a little piece of the flexible band on the tip to help with removing it when necessary. It's also useful to come up with a plug for the fil hole. In absence of other material, perhaps your wick material itself may prove useful to plug those other holes in the deck.

Rarely do I need to prepare a new wick from scratch.

Perhaps some will find this a useful method.

I wish I could just throw some clean cotton in my tanks but I just can't bring myself to do it. I gotta have clean tanks, clean wire every 2-3 days if not it would bug the daylights out of me. I think it's a OCD of some sort. Guess it's better than doing it everyday like I once did. to me if I didn't do this at least every 2 days it would be like not changing the undies every day..lol Well then again maybe not everyone does that every day either..lol
