Great Pictures and info. Is any adapter (510/510) etc... needed for Penelope attached to a ProVari? I should have one on the way from COV this week.

No you dont need adapters because you can adjust the the center pin, the penelope can sit pretty flush on the provari and still get a very good air flow but you will decide that yourself when you get it :p

I just ran the tank all the way dry on my ViVi nova rebuilt with cotton wick, and kept vapping just to see how long it would vape on just the juice in the wick. (sorry I didn't time it or count puffs) It just kept going.. it sucked all the juice out of the wick. The wick stared turning back to white and looking dry. It just kept going until there was no flavor left and a very slight bunt taste.

Edit: I should add that it was a rebuild with cotton yarn.

Has anybody used cotton in whatever form to use as s fill instead if the polyfill for the bulli a2?
I used cotton ball material in place of polyfill in a DC carto and it didn't work to well. As good as the cotton is for wicking up joose it's very slow in releasing it and can't keep up with medium to heavy vapin. :>)

So I tried using cotton wicks for my vivi nova for the first time. I tried 100 percent sterilized cotton balls and 100 percent rolled cotton. I watched the video that people were referring to a while back on how to use the cotton wicks. They seem to work but the flavor is off. The only way to describe it is a cotton like taste, if that makes sense. I made sure that the wick was primed well and even waited for the wick to become saturated before trying. Has anyone else had this issue?

*nevermind, found my answer a few pages back and will try again tonight.

My first cotton thread wick had what I called a wet string taste, maybe the same as you are describing. I tried again with half the amount of cotton and the odd flavor was gone, wicks just as well.

That is what I am noticing with Gauze. The less I use the better it seems to perform. I am going to try just a single tiny tiny wick tonight. I had one that was pretty small already but double twisted itself so it wrapped over itself kinda like a braid if that makes sense. The taste is OK but not great. No Dry Hits though so I think I am on the right path. Think its getting close to being all the way dialed in.

I have to agree. I've been using small cotton batten wicks and gauze threads. To me, the overall experience is better with the smaller wick verses large. I use an 18 gauge ish size screw for my coils and my wicks slide easily into them.
