you know you could've just re-wicked/re-coiled it in half the time right :p

I'm in a bad way boys...I traded off my only SS Line on hand for a Penny (it was packed up from yesterday afternoon, and now it's gone)...It feels like the time I sold my mint '69 Cougar XR7 GT full load w/leather for a down payment on our house...as Joni Mitchel put it..."you don't know what you've got till it's gone..." I've got my hybrid which rocks but I feel...:(
I don't have a Line, but I don't think you will be dissapointed with the Penny. It works so well and is so compact. I make 1.6/1.8 ohm coils and use it on KGO batteries, makes it ultra portable and totally pocketable.

Dam it Quigs. It's not bad enough I'm a out of work broke old fart, Who not long ago had hundred dollar bills falling out of my pockets in a bar, smoking fake cigarette, trying not to think of yesterday and now I have to remember my 66 2+2 fastback, 289-225 horse hi-po 11" rears with mach 60 slicks, torsion bars, explosion proof bell housing, vertigate inline shifter Etc. That I sold so we could get a FAMILY car.:cry::cry:

This cotton wick E-2 with the unbraided candle wick is still running goooood.:):)

Thanks guys, glad I'm not alone on losing our first "true love" ;)...all except BJ that is...man, that's amazing...I'd like to say I've owned something for 50 yrs, however I'll have to wait 3 more to say I've been in possession of my own skin ...my 3rd and final SS Line will show up from Croatia some day but I am looking forward to the Penny...I respect everyone has their fav's but of all the devises I've got my Ody is the king, the Penny will just be my baby Ody...

Gotta get yourself another Ody or Penny (from what I can see, zero difference except for external form factor but will let you know...) BJ, nothing is more built for cotton than the Ody...

As for the Bird...my life long dream car...the Thelma and Louise Bird....'64 I think...so long and low...just the ultimate "sled", but not Eldorado "land yacht" if you know what I mean?...The reason I bought the Cougar was because of James Bonds "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" ...couldn't afford a vert but still loved the lines and those cool taillights...

but say it does weaken the mesh, so what? you use it for a while and throw it out :)

the idea of running a SS wick covered in carbon goop for prolonged periods of time just reminds me of...well, inhaling burnt stuff :)

hopefully its total bs, as I love my SS mesh

The crud keeps building up because it will neither evaporate nor burn. It's not all charred ash until you actually burn/dry burn/whatever, right? Or else I would *guess* actual combustion would be pretty minimal/surface limited.

I don't really know - that's just my own way of thinking about what the buildup is comprised of.

You get that Yarn cool breeze?

On Tapatalk via my Mobile

I did as well :) Thank you VERY much Supervape, very nice of you to share with so many

Thanks to you, I am finally enjoying my new Genesis-style from SmokTech - silica-free. After breaking in a few other new parts and giving the silica another try, I wasn't up for more. Perhaps it's all in my head, but I really don't think so: I found both items too irritating (Bully and E1) - especially new - now that I've been spoiled with natural fibers.

I experienced almost the same thing... Since switching to cotton and SS, silica wick just tastes bad. Same thing happened with juice... Way back with my first kit, I thought the juice was sooo yummy, but now, I wouldn't vape that stuff if it was all I had...
