I don't have a Line, but I don't think you will be dissapointed with the Penny. It works so well and is so compact. I make 1.6/1.8 ohm coils and use it on KGO batteries, makes it ultra portable and totally pocketable.

Dam it Quigs. It's not bad enough I'm a out of work broke old fart, Who not long ago had hundred dollar bills falling out of my pockets in a bar, smoking fake cigarette, trying not to think of yesterday and now I have to remember my 66 2+2 fastback, 289-225 horse hi-po 11" rears with mach 60 slicks, torsion bars, explosion proof bell housing, vertigate inline shifter Etc. That I sold so we could get a FAMILY car.

This cotton wick E-2 with the unbraided candle wick is still running goooood.

Had an Ody and sold it because of the silica, now with cotton may look at it again. But really the vivi nova (cotton) and the GSA are so cheap and so good, I haven't touched even my lines for weeks. The girls don't really notice what I am vaping as I drive by in the Tbird...

Gotta get yourself another Ody or Penny (from what I can see, zero difference except for external form factor but will let you know...) BJ, nothing is more built for cotton than the Ody...

As for the Bird...my life long dream car...the Thelma and Louise Bird....'64 I think...so long and low...just the ultimate "sled", but not Eldorado "land yacht" if you know what I mean?...The reason I bought the Cougar was because of James Bonds "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" ...couldn't afford a vert but still loved the lines and those cool taillights...

Gonna look at the Penny.
The 64 Tbird is unbelievable. Friend has one. My 55 TBird has won many prizes in Florida as best street 55. I also have a 69 Mustang that has almost been modified to a Cobra.

the idea of running a SS wick covered in carbon goop for prolonged periods of time just reminds me of...well, inhaling burnt stuff

hopefully its total bs, as I love my SS mesh

The crud keeps building up because it will neither evaporate nor burn. It's not all charred ash until you actually burn/dry burn/whatever, right? Or else I would *guess* actual combustion would be pretty minimal/surface limited.

I don't really know - that's just my own way of thinking about what the buildup is comprised of.

Thanks to you, I am finally enjoying my new Genesis-style from SmokTech - silica-free. After breaking in a few other new parts and giving the silica another try, I wasn't up for more. Perhaps it's all in my head, but I really don't think so: I found both items too irritating (Bully and E1) - especially new - now that I've been spoiled with natural fibers.

I experienced almost the same thing... Since switching to cotton and SS, silica wick just tastes bad. Same thing happened with juice... Way back with my first kit, I thought the juice was sooo yummy, but now, I wouldn't vape that stuff if it was all I had...

I recieved mine as well supervape.How many strands do you use for wrapping the coil?Have you tried unbraiding it?

Just wanted to advise anyone using yarn, mercerized yarn is treated. I don't know for sure if boiling will get all of the treatment out but definitely boil it.

Here is some raw, untreated, unbleached, and undyed yarn. It's about 2mm diameter but the company should have smaller if you need it:

Got this over the weekend.
Pyrex Cheese Cloth - Bed Bath & Beyond
100% natural cotton cheesecloth. No dyes or bleach. It has a bit more 'break in' period than the bright white chesecloth I got at the grocery store, but after about a half hour its just fantastic.
