To add, since upping that vid I re-built my Ody with the el cheapo "bleached" cheese cloth...I have to say it's black and white when compared to the non-bleached Bed Bath and Beyond stuff...if anyone is thinking about picking some of that up, pfft, save your gas, money and time, go to Safeway ;)

Have to admit the cheap cheesecloth works for me. Enjoyed your video, and see you went for a wick over wick/coil setup. Issak is hitting me hard right now and the house has power thru batteries and an inverter so don;t know how long I'll be connected. Probably have to use my battery mods soon.

Thanks for this Quigs. I'll have to give cheese cloth another shot. You have a high standard to beat though because I'm pretty happy with my cotton yarn.

But that's the beauty of this whole cotton/RBA thing...you don't have to deviate from what ever it is you're doing...if what you're doing works for you, done!, you're a vet, you know the score :D

My little Bob Ross, joy of vaping episodes are just little "so you got cotton and kanthal and don't know what to do next?...try this" kinda thing...

added bonus, if I reach 100 followers to my You Tube channel, I'm starting a cult and buying a ranch in Montana...

But Q, I'd prefer a mountain lodge in Alaska

No, I unbraid it first. The resulting string is larger than the gauze thread and seems to wick a little better. Anyway thats the set up for this week. :>)

it's hilarious. first braid the guaze. unbraid the candle wick. i find this to be a Royal PITA! just make a tangled mess and start yanking. the candle wick as-is isn't bad with thin juice. this may be a given, but no matter how "untreated" your cotton is boiling first it makes it taste better! for me anyways. actually it must work better therefore it tastes better? maybe heat expanding the fibers break it in and open pores or whatever the reason.

Nice vid again Quigs, it isnt' Bob Rossian either, not once did you mention 'happy little threads'. :D

For the denser woven BB&B cloth, it would end up thicker as there is more weft in between too, so you get more threads in it.

I can see where this is all headed: In about 6 months the ultimate wick will be 400 count organic sheets from a U.K bedding shoppe.
