can anyone tell me where to get different wicking materials ie cotton silica whatever is out there prefferably canadian vendors if possible just looking for some supplies thanks

Canvape sells silica wicks and kanthal wire, also Jugheads sells cotton and silica wicks as well as kanthal wire.
thanks all got the trends just was not sure about common cotton threads also is there any prep necessary with wicks as i am still a newbie and just about to get started with rba and the such.
May want to check out this thread. Looks like it's all a question of personal taste (I soo surprized!) but hemp seems to be a great wicking material.
Biggest thing with cotton DO NOT DRY BURN. Some choose to boil and dry thread personaly I dont with some threads it's best to give them a more time to initialy wick juice. Personaly I prefer the Cotton balls easy to roll a wick and gives a great clean taste.
Canvape has ekowool braided silica wicks...best in the biz...and only one in North America to carry it too.
