I've been having significant problems with the JC sampler pack I got. Two of my older atomizers are barely working after using it, and one seems to have a permanent JC aftertaste. I couldn't get the juice to vaporize very well. I can get a couple small drags off it but after that the atomizer just seems clogged and won't vaporize the liquid.

Oh on another note my e-smoking friend here in town got a bottle of Original tobacco and he says it works just fine.

I tried using me DSE 901 atomiser that I tested out the Chocolate Almond JC juice in (2 drops into the atomiser) and it is clogged up!

It still produces good vapour, but the air hole must be blocked as it is now really hard to draw air through, you get a headache sucking.

The atomiser was washed and dried on the same day that I tested the JC juice in it.

It might be useful if the people who have had the numb mouth reaction to JC could tell us which flavours they were using at the time of the problem. Please.

We could then get an idea of which ones to compare if we ever get a list of ingredients and anyone who is worried about this effect could also avoid those flavours instead of the whole range.

All this talk about Johnsons e-liquid got me curious, so I got out my old sample bottles this morning to bring along to the office with me (with my 901Bs).

I LOVE those mini-cigs, but I'm not an occasional smoker, I like to puff a lot (and I can, in my private cubicle). But the darn things run out too fast!

So I brought along the medium strength Vanilla Ice Cream and chocolate. I ONLY topped off the carts--if you look at Johnsons site, he does say "don't drip directly into atomizer, only on cartridges".

I'm not a spokesperson for them, just another vaperer...(wait is that right?!) Anyway--I'd almost forgotten how nice and smooth this stuff was. I admit the chocolate could be a little stronger, but that's just me--I tasted it easily enough. AND I LOVE THE VANILLA.

I've been alternating between 2 901s all morning and loving this thick mellow smoke. I just went to the Johnsons site 2 minutes ago & ordered bigger bottles of both the vanilla and chocolate.

I think as long as I only top off the carts, and drain these mini-atomizers at night things will be fine. And for the record, I'm getting a VERY good kick in the throat from these! :p

It's not really a simple matter of getting refunds, some people are having physical reactions to something in JC juice. They don't know what is affecting them and have no way of finding out unless someone produces useful information which will narrow down the possibilities. It sounds like the numb reaction is not caused by propylene glycol or nicotine. If MacFan doesn't have enough respect for his customers to try to help them find out what they are sensitive to then they might be able to help each other. I'd suggest comparing what flavours were being used. This feedback may also help others who read this in future to avoid similar or worse reactions from the same ingredients.

Hopefully jc will sort out this issue but for now you should contact your supplier and ask for a refund as the juice is not doing as it should!

Seems as if some bad juice got through the system and am pretty sure your supplier if like mine will want your future business :)

Personally I have not heard from JC.
He should have contacted his first customers and warned them, stop using the juice, a new bottle is on the way.

He did not do that.
He lost a customer in me.

I'm sorry.....But NO FRIGGIN WAY did 2 drops clog your atomizer!
Not unless it was as thick as tar, and that's just not JC's juice.

You'd better check your atomizer as with the DSE901, if you over tighten the battery, you can rotate the atomizer within the housing and the little hole on the side will not line up. This sounds a little more probable than 2 drops clogging it.
Just can't happen, unless you had to put the juice in with a putty knife.

I get the numbness on the tongue with e-cigs.com's Juice as well... Flue Cured Tabacco X-tra strong & Strawberry X-tra strong.

I haven't tried any other liquids.

Caveat: i e-smoke non-stop & go through about 2-4 ml of juice per day.

I wonder if this has something to do with high nic juice then? Ecig.com high is 24mg as far as I know and so is Johnson Creek. That's higher than 'high' usually is. Maybe the numbness is to do with high nic for some people. Someone here reported the numbness with low and zero nic though so it isn't the same for all.

To those affected, is there any way this could have been caused by liquid getting in your mouth or did that not happen?

The more I follow this thread, the more I'm thinking most of it is hooey!

If you take any brand smoke juice and drip it in your mouth, you get a numbing sensation.
And just from my own experience of "topping off cartridges" I know that it's human nature.....or over zealousness to "top off" until you see it "puddle" just a little.

If you do this.....your over filling, and when you draw on your e-cig, the liquid will "pour" droplets off the top of the cartridge which will be sucked along the channels of said cartridge and be drawn into the mouth.

Perhaps we are topping off just a little too much?

As for the clogging complaints......I just don't buy it!

I ordered 2 bottles......one of regular and one of almond coffee cake, on the very first day JC's opened and before his "new centrifugal filtering" whatchamacallit.

I have since ordered the sample pack of non-PG when it first became available.

Everything has been 24 mg nicotine.

I have been dripping directly into the atomizer and topping off cartridges daily and not had any clogging of any kind.
I've been using a Janty Kissbox Classic and a couple of DSE901's but mostly the Kissbox.

I've learned not to fill until the cartridge puddles and almost never get juice in my mouth.

So can someone explain to me how all these people are having these mysterious problems.

Also, I've got at least 10 friends that have taken up e-smoking in the last 3 or 4 weeks and are using Johnson Creek and I've yet to hear anyone complain about it at all.

This whole thread is sounding crazier and crazier to me.
I actually wish my atomizer would clog so I can post a "me too" complaint.

Burns, I don't think it's a good idea to dismiss health reports as being due to incompetence or inexperience. You don't know what practices these people use to vape, they might not have got juice in their mouths. We all have different experiences, some of us react differently to different ingredients, such as those who say they are sensitive to propylene glycol. Or do you think they are making it up too? I'd prefer to know if anyone has problems, that's the only way to avoid more.

If we are not comfortable sharing our individual experiences we will never be able to contribute to making esmoking a better, safer habit.

Re the Johnson Creek clogging issue, there have been some people who report having no problems and there have been some (depends on your own judgement as to whether it's a significant number) who report clogging. If I was one of them I'd resent you calling me a liar.

You have a point.
Just trying to formulate some kind of explanation for this as I've heard nothing from anyone using this product for a month now until THIS THREAD. And all of a sudden, it seems that everyone is coming out of the woodwork with similar complaints.
Reading this thread feels like watching an example of crowd frenzy from a psychology class.

Let me make myself perfectly clear how I feel about anyone resenting me.
I DO NOT CARE!
I am absolutely and completely indifferent to weather anyone approves of me or what I say.
I try to be as civil as I can but I will always be honest.

When someone posts that they dripped 2 drops into an atomizer and it clogged as if instantaneously or they are soooo sure of something........well, I'm sorry, but if it walks like bull@#%$, and talks like bull@#%$, and smells like bull@#%$, my bull****ometer just goes crazy!

Lets be honest here......I'm just typing what I'm thinking as I read this thread and I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way.

And one other thing.......I never called anyone a liar.
You said I did.

I'm just trying to make some sense of this thread and the conflicting experiences everyone is having with the same product.
The numbing complaints could be an individual thing as you stated but the clogging complaints just don't make sense unless there is something else going on here.
