You gave me an idea, so I got started just to see what it would look like.
When I get the measurements figured out, it will have purpleheart for the top also.
Only problem with this batch of purpleheart is that it isn't very purple.

Alekos. Is there a finish on the lacewood? It looks a bit darker than others I have seen.

Hit the blank with a coat of tung oil, to show grain for photo.

Have you decided where you are placing the pot and if you will have an external adjustment?

probably the bottom or at least low on the body.

Can you make a wood dial if its external?

External pot would be awesome yeah. But basilcaly with a VV or VW (even more with a VW I guess), you tune it up to what you need, and forget it
The only one I keep playing with all day long is the Provari...to check the batts
