Beautiful work as always Alek. I just got a used bandsaw and am learning to resaw. I need to buy a blade designed just for that. Inspiring seeing these, lot more work than most people realize. Sorry if this was a bit off topic just hard to not say something as these are simply gorgeous.
The wood was already beautiful MrGreen819, I just did a little sanding. Well and a couple of coats of wax.

About the same price if not cheaper than bulk made blades. They also might just have about every part to your saw, if something breaks.

Thanks Alek I appreciate the info. I will try woodcraft first as they are local and quite knowledgeable. If they don't have anything I will try apexsaw. Finding beautiful wood like that is hard also.

Just absoluting freaking beautiful. Sorry I missed this last night. You are a true craftsman and the personalized CS with the PM's impressed me. I will be wanting a Myrtle wood in the near future.

That's good for me. I know you said to use Minwax. As a kid playing a 1814 Amati clone by swietzer violin the guy who did restoration (German Spruce) told me to use walnut oil to finish. Could I use that as well. Monday will be a great vapemail day.
It was finshed with Tung oil and then a couple of coats of the finishing wax.
Most paste finishing waxs will work with very little labor. Just rub it in.......wait maybe 5 min....buff with polishing cloth.
