I think the title says it all but anyway, I see PV's advertised with 901/808 Atomizer Connectors. I assume that the KR808D-1 Carto's will work on these connectors even though they are not stand alone atomizers. Could someone confirm this before I place my order? I'm 90% sure it's OK, but I don't want to unwrap my new package and then have one of those "oh crap!" moments. Thanks much.

I just posted this on your other thread too...

They should work with the 901/808 connection. If you have batteries with a 510 connection you can also get a 510 battery to 901/808 atomizer adapter (madvapes). The 901 and 808 have the same threads, but not all 901 adapters work with cartomizers, so make sure they specify both 901/808.

The KR808D-1 connector and the 901 connector are identical and - mostly - interchangeable. I use a 510, so I'm not absolutely certain of this but...the airflow of a 901 atty is partly dependent on a hole that is actually above the connector. So 901 atty on 808 batt - no problem. But the connector on a KR808D-1 carto is dependent on airflow through the connector. So 808 carto on a 901 batt - airflow problems that really can only be answered with an adapter.

At least, that's what I remember reading. I did use KR808D-1s when I first started an ecig, and I put a 901 atty on it with no problems.

It depends. If the carto is some kind with no slot cut across the center post AND the battery post has no slot cut across the post then you may need an adapter to provide airflow for the carto. If just the battery has a slotted post the carto should get air. If only the carto has the slotted post, it should get some air if the carto slot is cut well.

I believe the Riva 901 at Liberty-Flights is the Eastmall version and has the slotted post but the SLB version at LiteCigUSA.net does not. The PigCig has a slotted post. I don't know what kind of atomizer socket post the mod builders use.

I know Vapor4Life cartos, SmokelessImage cartos and Boge KR8 (302D) cartos have slotted posts. I think the leCig D1 cartos and VaporNine's torrent or whatever they call them cartos do not have a slotted post.
