Yes, your sense of taste and smell should return to normal once you're off the analogs for a bit. How long it takes varies from person to person. Usually, you'll start noticing some change within a couple weeks completely off analogs.

Sometimes it's great to have your senses back and sometimes it's not. You'll notice how bad smokers really do smell and you won't believe you used to smell like that too. The flavor of foods and drinks will change a lot too.
As for how long it will take, that's really an individual thing. For some, it only takes a couple of days for others it takes a few weeks.

I can smell a cigarette from a mile away now. The down side to your smell returning lol. I agree with the other posters, it will vary depending on the person. Mine took more like 3 weeks before I really started to notice.
yeah I have heard of some saying that foods they used to love don't taste the same now. So it's good and bad but I'd rather be able to smell and taste ..and live longer than smoke
IMO your smell will return quickly, especially when it comes to analog smoke.
My experience was that as soon as I tried my ecig, I couldnt smoke an analog. Believe me, I tried. Several times. It just tasted like I was sucking on an exhaust pipe. I quit easily after tasting the difference.

I was wondering that today while walking through town how and if my smell would come back after coming off analogues. I could smell cigs a mille off too
Big +1 You really notice how bad smokers smell. Within a few weeks you'll probably be taking you coats and jackets to the dry cleaner because you'll notice how much they stink too.
I'll also reiterate what everyone else has been saying. Yes, it will come back. Some people it comes back very quickly, sometimes it takes a while. Depends on the person and their smoking habits. As an on again off again smoker, I found that I started noticing a difference within about 3 days, but it was a couple of weeks before I started realizing how bad smokers around me smelled.
Yes, I remember walking into my house after about 3 days of exclusive ecig use and yhe smell of stale analogs was overwhelming. Had to bust out the Pine Sol and Fabreeze.
I got my VP 6 days ago. During this time I've smoked about half a pack of analogs, and the taste and smell are starting to become repulsive. Today I noticed how gross the inside of my car smells. All the more reason to take the money I'll be saving and get a really good interior detailing done.
Yes, they will come back and you will discover everything you own smells (house, car, clothing) and any friends or relatives that smoke, stinky,stinky. Second, when your taste comes back one of two things will happen, first possibility, everything tastes much better and you get fat. Second possibility (happened to be) my taste became more discriminating and I lost weight.
I couldn't agree with this more. I will admit I tried to smoke a cig the 1st day and about darn near gagged on the taste. LOL. I agree on the EP taste. Today I noticed the more I smell friends smoking analogs the more it sickens me... it literally smells like burning rat poison to me.
I've noticed on day 4 my tastebuds started doing REALLY WEIRD things. My taste was horribly off. Now on day 7 and I can taste things better. The one's with an acidic content tho seem to cause a flavor overload... I'm sure within a few more days, for me atleast it'll be more neutral. I have noticed today things are tasting SOOO much better. Tho I have this odd film feeling on my tongue... I just keep brushing it (with not fluoridated TP), rinsing, and using a tongue scrubber. and they seem to be VERY HAPPY. My senses are insane now and I can smell things like crazy, some I wish to NOT... but overall YAY for breathing, smelling more, and to REAL taste!!

Biggest thing I've noticed is I'm drawn to really, really strong tastes right now, like my taste buds need a jolt; been 3 weeks since my last analog, so maybe that's my taste coming back.Yes, Yes and Yes ! I started using my Safe Cig about 2 weeks ago and I swear on the bible that my sense of smell has gotten better. I was at this diner about 2 days ago for breakfast and there was a waiter who just came back in from a smoke break and I could smell him a million miles away, it honestly made me sick to my stomach. I also noticed that food tastes better also, especially chocolate, lol. Im very happy with the changes my body is going through right now, I can honestly say that im done with cigarettes forever
yes, I can breathe and smell much much better after the last 6 months of vaping! The reason is because you are not poisoning your body with toxins!
Yes, it does. It only took me about two weeks to notice that my taste had come back, I tried smoking and couldn't stand the taste of the cigarette.

Two weeks after my last analog, I stopped at a KFC and got that DoubleDown "sandwich" (bacon & cheese between two chicken breasts). I had to spit it out & throw the rest in the trash. Honestly, I thought I was going to puke.
