It's really a two-part addiction. You have the physical nicotine addiction, and the ritual of actually smoking with the oral stimulation and movements.

E-cigs take care of both of those almost seamlessly, which is part of why they're so effective. The only issue is that you still have the nicotine addiction, but that can be carefully weaned with proper juices.

You can get juices at different nic levels, and even mix to lower or raise it. Most people wanting to quit will start off high (around 20 or so I think, I started at 18) and gradually reduce it till they are comfortable, some to zero, and still have the "ritual of actually smoking with the oral stimulation and movements." (thanks for the quote Hyppy :), very well worded). And a lot of people keep doing it just for the pleasure of trying new tastes they can come up with. I'm playing with DIY already (and finding some very strange flavors I might add LOL)

It helped for me. I actually need to throw those old pillows out they are stinking up a non-smokers closet!

It was the first cooler day here and when I opened my coat closet I couldn't believe the stink! Time to take dry clean only coats to the DC!

I tell you what.. I don't know if I hate the way cigarettes smell while burning.. but I definitely notice this smell lingering in my room from when I smoked in here the last few months. It stinks. I've been 3-days smoke-free and have been avoiding analogs like the plague lol. So I'm not sure if I hate their scent yet.. however I do love the light scent of vapor that lingers after my father-in-law vapes.
