It would be so disappointing if they make this a tobacco product and tax it. It is not just the tax that is the problem though. There are also the other charges like "tobacco surcharges" on insurance and so forth. Of course I know they will eventually do so given that they refuse to see beyond the greed of collecting taxes. I don't know if I will stop Vaping, but I might have to if the cost is prohibitive. I was doing RYO analogs, so Vaping is not necessarily cheaper than that and if they add taxes on top of it, the cost benefit is completely gone. Of course, the house does smell better now, but some people can't afford Vaping if the cost keeps going up. Vaping has a lot of added cost in things like coils, atomizers, etc... so that all has to be figured in. Being in Michigan, my biggest fear is that they will do what they did for tobacco and make it illegal to buy anything from out of state. Then you are at the mercy of local vendors. That would be terrible.
