Hmm I've never added sugar to my onions, they always seem to caramelize well enough on their own, just salt and butter for me :X
Well I am no cook, I've simply been integrated into this homogenized situation, I even have a pair of tennis shoes and everything. :thumb:

I'm not a fan of sauteed onions, I love them raw, but I sure can saute bread like no other
French onion soup boss, if I don't do that to the onions, the entire dish seems bland. I slow cook the whole mess for 6 plus hours, strain the liquid, boil it adding thyme, red pepper and a clove, sometimes I'll toss in a green granny apple if I have one. Then add them all back and serve with garlic croutons loaded with butter straight out of the oven, YUM

This house is killing me at the moment, dammit it stinks wonderfully in here! I started the crouton juice a few minutes ago, UHHHGGG, with the garlic onions done and the beef broth simmering, this place is crazy right now.
