Those tomatoes get picked out first thing and tossed aside...there is just something gross about a cooked tomatoe chunk to me.

ALWAYS put all my fresh veggies in last, cold and crisp. Brings a nice contrast, and yes, you don't get a slime sploog with a skin attached that has the appearance of what used to be a tomato .
