Well, Grandson got lucky. Lots of Red, but no blistering. Some caught the left side of his face, but cooled enough in route to not scald it.
Dr gave him an antibiotic, ordered him t0 Ice every few hours(yea, maybe if I pin him down) and prescribed a huge tube of burn cream.
Looks like 1/2 the red is already fading out , though he is still wincing a bit.
Fortunately they don't go back to school until Wed.

That's great to hear, burns suck so much. I'd rather have stitches with novacain than a teeny tiny burn.

I am in the middle of a PayPal dispute with fasttech currently over an empty envelope that showed up in my mailbox - 3/4 lb of wire and metal coil jig rods, in a paper envelope and they didn't even bother to tape the seam on the top - but according to them, it's the post offices fault... guess I will let PayPal sort it out... have had quite a few orders with them with no major issues, but they seem determined to be jackalopes about this... ugh.

Really odd since my complaint is about every mm of envelope is taped. Always a joke about how mych they must spend in tape. Sorry for the troubles though, just went through it with them over a device that had an intermittent... still has it actually but son says he can fix it.

Yeah, lime of just about any kind doesn't care much for heat it seems.

I think I had a Malibu flavoring that came from ThevapeMall but don't see it on their site now. They change flavorings quite a bit. I find things I really like and have learned to order more quickly as good chance it won't be there by the time I empty the bottle I have.

Umm.. That did not go, very well...

So we move 16 guys from S.E. Michigan to N.W. Iowa, get all the equipment prepped and started and running in the ultra cold, all the trucks and pumps loaded up with our gear and fueled up, the crew dressed and ready to make the drive from the farm in Iowa to the plant in Minnesota, and the customer calls in to call off. Just TOO cold to chance shutting down the plant.

When the weather is this cold, things that RUN fine in it, don't STOP fine in it. Everything just freezes up and it can be hell to get it all working again, so they decided to forego maintenance and just keep running the plant. Long way to go to turn around and come home, fortunately, a third of the job is the mobilization, and that is all billable. But shoot...

This plant actually uses the LEGAL definition of "too cold to work". On the day of setup for the shutdown, they look across the street at the courthouse. It is deemed too cold to work, when they see lawyers with their hands in their OWN pockets..

yeah it's 13 degrees here, but sunny... good since i have to do some road time today... tomorrow looks to be ugly, but will be inside the cave and hunkered down

It's a balmy 16F here Did the work from home bit yesterday afternoon so I could clear the initial round of snow, this morning there was another half foot or so. Expecting up to another half foot today, though it's iffy -- nature of lake effect.

My nitecore USB charger took a dive yesterday, and so did my 100w istick.

Now all I have is my xcube and my nitecore 120v charger.

Luckily Amazon is exchanging the USB charger but I hate not having a backup mod.

Looks like I'll have to go shopping on payday.

Other than that, rain and lots of it! So I have that going for me.

WOW, sorry it's so cold there. It's a pleasant 51 here and raining pretty steady since sometime after 0130 when my dog decided she wanted to go out. Not needed mind you she went out and got in "her" lawn chair and layed down.

If you need pretty quick delivery Vapor Beast's warehouse is in San Diego, once in a while they have some fairly good deals. You just gotta look for em.
