Hmm I haven't seem to have developed any on my windows yet this winter. I know there's some on my car windshield but that's a mix of vaping and smoking from when I used to smoke. Still haven't cleaned it off yet. I drive my car like Ace Ventura with my head out the window so it's all gravy.

Oil I think, I just cleaned my laptop its amazing how clear the picture is now. Vapor sticks to everything.

I cleaned my car windows last night and Windex with a soft cloth did the trick. To me it seems a lot less gunk than when I was smoking and I am sure my electronics will thank me for not having all the tar from smoking accumulating now.

As a former computer repair guy I want to thank you on behalf of your electronics

I started a thread about this about a month ago. A lot of good suggestions from everyone. What Ive found works fairly well is a bucket of hot water with a little bit of dish soap. Clean windows. Rub dry. Then clean windows with invisible glass. Its also good to repeat the entire process if its particularly bad. It will eventually get so bad that you cant see through it at all. The bad news is it comes back within 2-5 days at the most. We actually bought a mini squeegie to keep in the car. Even cracking the window doesnt really help. Good luck. Stay safe.

I probably should have used the search button. But in my defense, I was half awake. Thank you everyone for all of the suggestions. I would love to use the vinegar but I pretty much live in this truck and the smell would be too much so I guess I will stick with the windex (ok, so its Rain-x that I use, but still works).

I thought I was alone on this one. Whatever you do don't try to wipe it off without cleaner, it will make a huge mess. Vaping and a big dog my windows are cleaned everyday. I keep a pack of windex wipes under the seat. Keep the bottle in the house this time of year it will freeze and crack the bottle. I usually crack the sunroof but way too cold now!

I wonder that myself. I vape 70/30 PG/VG and don't have the film buildup. Granted I live in Florida now but I did live in Philly when I started vaping and never got that even in the winter.

I've never had that problem either & i'm usually on 60/40 blends... But i have had a few friends mention a "greasy" type build up on their windows from time to time & each use 80 to full VG blends...

I have really integrated vinegar into my vaping and elsewhere in cleaning. I use it to soak parts, etc. It is natural, removes flavors and a good, hot rinse removes it.

I would have to agree that the more clouds and the more vg used the more film on the windows you would have I personally do 50-70%pg and 50-30%vg, haven't noticed a film on my 23" monitor as yet

70 pg 30 vg here in cny outside temp about 25... film builds up fast using a kayfun and lemo. Have no issues in the summer months it's only an issue when the temps drop down.

I only vape 60% VG and up. Lately been vaping 90% VG Cereal Killa. Could be related. I have to clean my windows daily. Im using invisible glass. Works great but the film comes back in a day to a day and a half. And I even usually crack the window. The film is getting worse the colder it gets outside. First showed up when it was in the 40s. Now its in the 20s and its way worse.

Probably not much. A two year environmental exposure to PG fog using rats as test subjects produced better organ health than the control group that was kept in room air.

The white vinegar only smells while you are using it. Once you wipe it off the odor doesn't linger. Just don't leave the vinegar soaked rags in the car by mistake. They will stink until they dry out.

I did my Ram 1500 quad cab pickup and my wife's Ford Flex. She can smell odors long before I ever detect them and she didn't mention anything about a smell from the vinegar. I'd leave the doors open for 10 minutes or so to let it air out, but lingering odors weren't a concern at all for me or her.

I'd have heard about it for days if I made her car smell like vinegar!

Once I switched to a dripper and high VG, the mirrors around my computer where I sit, and the window I blow the vape toward get lots of film and it's tough to get off, it seems like it's gone, but the next day it's there again.

I vape high PG juices- Halo, ProVape and Alice In Vapeland. Carto tanks. Terrible window film after a day. Only happens when it gets cold- 5 Celsius and below. A natural chamoise with hot water cleans it very good.
