Yeah that FFC/FPC connector would be really nice and save a lot of people some trouble.

Totally. Getting a ZIF connector on there would make life a lot easier.

Thanks!

About the voltage drop....don't get me wrong I totally agree with you....but when using something like the dna that shouldn't effect what is being applied to the atty....unless I'm totally misunderstanding something.

I think we're on the same page here. The dna (or any other regulator) will supply the correct voltage to the atty. But the high IR will affect battery performance and decrease useable capacity and service life. Frequently dipping below 3V under load can also cause an unsafe situation with these LiPo's - they can puff up and vent explosively.

I know all about lipo's and what happens when things go wrong. Kind of got out of RC so now I have surplus of mod battery options :D

Wow! that is quite a collection of lipo's.

Oh, and the "backflip" connector is interesting, but it might be difficult to access in certain configurations. I was thinking ZIF, because you can install the screen independently, fiddle with the board wiring, seat everything in position, and then, right when everything's done, sneak the FFC into the ZIF.
