Do you know the size of the wick holes on these atomizers? Make sure it is slightly smaller than that and you should be fine.
EDIT: After some research it looks like 3/32 is a popular size

I believe the size i use for most genesis is 9/16? It's just a bit smaller than 3/32 but it fits comfortably in any genesis, 3/33 was just a bit to wide for some of my attys
Hi, I believe the kraken wick hole is 2.9 mm, not sure about the I atty but it looks around 2.4 or 2.5 mm. So assuming these are the sizes of the wick holes, would you suggest getting 2.5 mm rope ??
I've built a couple krakens and found the smaller size works better. You only need a small amount of mesh to stop it from shorting, so I'm a firm believer that less is more. Don't waste your time with eko wool (IMHO). Mesh is amazing if you get it built right.
I say shoot for 2mm friend. Also easier to cut with a good set of wire cutters, it won't fray up quite as much
You could always grab both sizes at a hardware store and figure out what you like best

Problem is i am in the uk so i ordered a metre length of 2 mm from over here.
I got my 2 mm rope, fitted a 3mm ekowool sleeve over with 5 wraps of .27 kanthal @1.4 ohms and it installed it into my I atty. I primed with a bit of juice and did a test fire, Hmm i got a tiny bit of vapour (must be the coil me thinks).

this stuff works really well when wrapped in mesh also......and torch the heck out of it......other than that its a charm.....i used 3/32 for my AGA T when i was using it
It would need to go into an RSSTXXXXL and a car battery mod to fire it

Lately, I've been re wicking some of my tired genny mesh wicks with 3/32 ss cable from Ace Hardware. I'm using a small piece of mesh under the coil area only. Just enough mesh to go around the cable wick about 2 times. I don't torch either the cable or the mesh. I just wrap, and then pulse, until everything glows evenly. I do boil my piece of cable first, to get rid of whatever manufacturing residue might be on the cable.
Wouldn't torching the cable be better than boiling? Seeing how wire rope is made, I don't believe boiling would really do anything at all to it.
Your trying to oxidize it so boiling wouldn't do anything but clean it real well
