Right. Al I want to do is clean it. That's why I boil it. I don't need to oxidize it. I'm wrapping a piece of mesh over the cable, where the coil will be. The piece of mesh gets oxidized with the pulsing process.

I would torch the mesh when on the cable and then drip some juice on the cable and mesh and light with a lighter. You will tell a difference in wicking ability. At least I did.

I don't torch anything anymore. I used to, when I first started building gennys. But I eventually found it to be unnecessary, as well as counter-productive. I find the flavor better when I pulse oxidize the coil, fill the tank, and do a couple juice burns.

That's a very good looking coil. I recently switched to SS rope wrapped in SS mesh as well. I do torch mine, but only enough to get rid of any impurities and oils. I had a problem the first time I pulsed them and it continued to taste like metal for 2 tanks... Took it apart and torched it and metal taste was gone. It only takes like an extra 30 seconds...

definitely not, ok so how bout a LAAARGE carto design wrapped with a lot non resistance wire, to keep the ohms down..... (cause it still has slight resistance, right?)

ok, back on topic, 3/32 with a 500 mesh topper works great with my aga t2, I'm still waiting for an i-atty from slowtech (just over 5 weeks now), so can't help much there...

The i atty is a brilliant rba mate, that is what i have the rope in at the minute (fantastic) Problem with mesh, for me anyway is no matter how much i oxidise it i allways get a metalic taste. so it makes sense just to use an ekowool sleeve instead.
