I have far too many guitars and amps. I have all fender now and one of the guys that lives in my co op does so much around here for nothing. very nice guy. I know times have been tough for them and he had to sell his guitars to make payments.... so I took over my old acoustic cutaway, strat copy and small amp a few minutes ago and gave them to him. he was just tickled. made my day to make a fellow player happy. the acoustic I kept in my van for taking to work but I have a case for the fender, so it's in the van. I love that guitar. just practicing now and so friggin hot. strings normally die on me really fast but these new coated strings are really holding up well.

it's amazing playing with such dedicated players again. we learn songs at a feverish pace. last band I had to push everyone all the time and was getting old fast. this time around I am actually having trouble keeping up to their pace. Tuesday I am playing with a different band for the first time. going in blind and winging it. I saw their set list and know a few songs they play. sure jumping in with both feet huh. well back to fondling my new love in life....
