I have been in contact with jwraps actually, since I first got my wae2. They (jwraps) apparently sell a couple design/cut patterns. I asked the rep I talked to if any were specifically for the wae2, she didnt know. She emailed me some layout designs, and the only one that looked like it would fit were just strips basically....if I can find the picture I'll post it..but basically it looked like it was a top strip thin for the cap, strip for the body, then a bottom strip for the battery cap. Looked like once it was all installed you wouldnt be able to remove the battery tube? Again, this was several weeks ago, so I might be wrong I am going by memory....... I know I was not happy with the design and decided to pass based on the outlined picture I saw.

Thanks for the picture Blu, it looks like I made the wrong choice....Yours looks great.

Mine came in 4 strips .... thin top-cap one, strip with cut-outs for the "body", and 2 separate strips for the tubes.

As far as I remember, they fit great, but I may have had to trim to length a teeny, but that is easy to do with a razor blade once it's on. I just run the blade along the ends of the tube and it shaves off any overhang.

Question for Mark.... the wizard Blue posted with the wrap is NOT the WAE2, but is it the same dimensions as the WAE2 ?
do you think that wrap would fit the same? button placement, dimensions, etc... I know my battery cap doesnt have any WAE logo'ing like the one pictured by Blue.

Thanks for the great info here guys.

wow, and I just stick mine in my pocket every day with my keys and whatever :) I figure it's a hunk of titanium, how much can I really hurt it? to me it looks just as good with a bit of wear really, I guess to me it's just a tool though and the wear marks don't bother me one bit. it's small light and durable, the finish holds up really well to the abuse too, it don't look bad at all considering what I do to it every day, scratches don't really show much, still just looks like a hunk of titanium

Turbo and Sedge.... I would very much like to see pictures of your devices.... please use imgur.com to host the pictures so they are full size, its easy to use and completely free and anonymous - no login or sign up required. I will take some pictures of mine, which I pamper, and while it looks great there are noticeable scratches, blemishes and wear spots..... Its never been in my pockets with anything except pocket lining of my slacks (I don't wear jeans - haven't in years).... never with coins, keys, nothing..... It rests in a mod holder at night and when in the car it sits in my shirt pocket or on a paper napkin lined rubber cup holder or in my hand being vaped....in my opinion, the finish is very delicate on mine............maybe I'm just too uptight...?

I guess everyone has there own things that bother them... for me lifes too short to worry about stuff like this I guess :) I'm the kind of guy who really uses my stuff, by the time I get a new cellphone or laptop my old one is beat to death, I'm not the kind of guy who uses screen protectors or babies my stuff and leave it home to protect it, I'd rather get my money's worth and really get use out of what I buy. then again I'm a jeans and tee shirt working guy, not an office type dude in a suit

this thing is with me just about every day, this and a reo with a chalice is all I grab when I leave the house. I've got plenty of other mods but I always carry my best/most favorite ones with me, they don't do anything for me just sitting home.. and yeah I scratched my chalice up a bit too, the wear really doesn't bother me one bit and I think they wear well, I'm sure the wizard will still look fine to me even after a few years even. I don't bother polishing brass or stuff like that either, at least not on a regular basis. I look at these as tools meant to do a job and they really are durable enough that I never worry about it. heres a few shots, don't look bad at all to me :)

^That, bingo√

And oh yeah, yours don't look bad at all ~ I like the way it has matured. Small dings and scratches actually are character marks ~ gives the device a distinct personality ~ makes it all the more affable!

I don't wrap mine as well, heck not even my cellphones. Like you mine's never had a screen protector in their lifetime. I don't abuse them ~ but don't overtly pamper them too. They too go in my pockets all nude ~ but I tend to take care what I place alongside. Usually thus my mods are in my right pocket - the one which carries my kerchief (along with the phone). Keys and nic-nacs go into the other ~ which also carries my battery case tho.

My WAE-II goes with me, pretty much everywhere. Few months now ~ and baring some hairline scratches (invisible to a casual glance) no noticeable marks are on it. Knock on wood!

to me the first one or 2 marks and scratches when it was sparkly new was more noticeable than any of the marks are now that the whole thing is evenly worn. I learned a new word today, affable :) I agree... it's kind of like a new pair of work boots or a new leather jacket... I hate that first week or 2 when they look all crispy new like, there much more comfortable once they get a bit worn in :)

this thing is not like a painted surface that's just going to get worse and worse with wear till it looks like crap, no matter how much wear it gets it's still going to look fine to me, that's why I say it's a very durable finish, not that it's going to stay new looking but that even with a lot of wear it's still going to look perfectly.... affable :D

Hello everyone, just wanted to see if someone can help me out, You have no idea for how long I have been trying to buy Mark Bugs products but they are always out of stock, just wanted to see if there is a special procedure to buy them, like joining a secret society :p? I don`t use Facebook so I can`t see any updates there.

Thank everyone in advance!

I think if you subscribe to the news letter on their site you will get updates via email. The last run of WAE2 seemed bigger than normal and was "in stock" for quite a while (unfortunately they appear "out of stock" now). Maybe MB can give you a hint as to when the next batch might release but I thought I heard they were dedicating themselves to the release of the atty first. Hopefully for you they will make some more WAE soon and in a quantity that allows you to get one comfortably. I got mine a while back and it was tough. I believe they sold out in minutes, in fact they oversold vs the quantity they were releasing but I was lucky and have been enjoying my WAE ever since (especially since getting the Erlkoenigen and a DNA 30 upgrade).
Good luck, when you do get one you will know why MB are called "metal magicians".

I want to make this perfectly crystal clear, I love my wizards apprentice evolved II! I really wanted a "wizard" by Mark Bugs from the moment I saw one online. I think his products are truly amazing pieces of art, and his work is nothing short of superb and amazing. My complaining about the finish is MY FLAW, and not a flaw with his product. Anyone lucky enough to own any of his products should cherish them as they are spectacular.

Ok, now that thats out of the way... I want to say one last thing... people can use their devices and not ruin them or abuse them :) Its all about how you treat and care for your items. I wash my car regularly, not because I wear a suit and tie - its because I value my things and take care of them (plus I dont like dirty cars)... so I take care of most of my items, regardless of what I pay for them, what they are or how they get used. I use my items and get what I consider is full benefit from them, but there is nothing wrong with respecting the things you own and caring for them in the process :vapor::D Everybody takes care of items differently I suppose.

Turbo, your wizard looks great actually.... definitely has character, yours looks like all the grey "frost" finish is gone, and looks uniform......... still waiting for sedge pictures. Here are mine.

Phone. I can take some pics but uploading to imgur from my camera isn't in the stars for my life. My Note 3 takes pretty good pics though they'd be hosted by Tapatalk.

However you want. But I'll tell you I'm using a galaxy s3 and I have the free imgur app, so one you take the picture on the phone, click the share button on the photo (the connecting lines) and it brings up apps to share with, and one will be imgur (if it's installed) and you can upload directly from the phone. Then it'll give you the url in the pull down shade, copy & paste. easy That's how I do it. But however you can.
