Yes, the nic itself is USP, as is the PG and VG. (No, the flavorings of course are not - they are not used for drugs but are food grade).

The J&J reference is just that the Wiz gets their nic from the same labs J&J gets their nic from.

Ultra Pure is sourced from India, I don't think anyone has confirmed the Ice comes from there as well. Frankly I don't care - it's the best nic I've used and at an outstanding price.

The requirements to meet USP monographs are slightly higher than those tests performed on toys :p

So you're saying Wizard gets their Nic from the China AND India? Thats even a bigger reason not to use them. And you know they get their Nicotine from the same place J&J gets it from? Care to share the name of the Chinese and Indian chemical plants they buy from? Or.....

Just curious where you get the Johnson and Johnson info from if you would. Are they located in China?

I haven't got a clue where the Johnson and Johnson labs are located but it says right on the WL nicotine page.

"Our organic nicotine extraction is performed through partnership with one of the providing labs to Johnson & Johnson's global line of nicotine based products for your assurance of chemical purity, quality control, and reliable results."

Yeah I saw that after I posted. Thanks for the response. Really learning a lot today after being 15 days into ecigs.

I wonder if people are getting two different websites mixed up. vapingextreme was said on this thread, by a member, that it makes a claim to made in the USA apparently although I see that vapingextreme states that the PG and VG are USA and otherwise state that the nic is of the highest quality and makes no statement about where the nic is from.

So, someone said they are made in the USA.

And then somehow people started mixing them together with WL. WL did not falsely state that their product was made in the USA.

I'm not really sure if this thread is making much sense anymore.

Many products come from overseas. That's the way it is. I think that WL has integrity and will be making sure the nic is correct. Although, I actually do not know what specific country the WL nicotine comes from. I don't think I know which country vapingextreme gets there nic from either.

First, I want to preface my post with this statement.

I am a proud, native born citizen of The United States. I love my country dearly. Freedom and Truth are kindred spirits, more like close siblings.

In the spirit of Truth, I feel compelled to state some important demographic facts regarding some of the above posts.

The current estimated population of the United States is estimated at about 314,000,000. 314 Million.

The current estimated population of India is estimated at about 1,220,200,000. 1.2 Billion: okay that's 1200 million or four times the population of the United States.

The current estimated population of China is estimated at about 1,344,130,000. 1.3 Billion: 1300 million or a little more than four times the population of the United States.

I don't want to go off a bunch of different directions here but I am well aware of the press that both China and India have gotten press re: dangerous corresponding exports of everything from baby cribs to toothpaste to probably quite a few other things. Usually what accompanies that is some sort of inaccurately based pseudo-nationalism based thought pattern that goes something like this: " See here's another reason not to buy __________________(insert a country) stuff! It's all crap and it's dangerous/deadly etc."

I have oh so quickly joined in on singing that song many a time, but...

Sometimes that's very valid, and in truth I would really rather buy and support my country, the United States of America. Our economy needs it our national morale requires it to thrive and survive. So if I can get it locally (read nationally, because it's really the same in the grand sphere of things) I will definitely buy and support American. I could go on here about the importance of supporting our needy economy but it would be too much of a copious digression. But..

I guess the bottom line is this. Generalizing the entire economy of nations four times the size of our own based on 2 or 3 examples (or 2 or 3 dozen for that matter) of manufacturing glitches or poor management is laughably ridiculous if you do the math.

So, what...are you going to stop buying Ford because of the "exploding Pinto" or another U.S. car manufacturer because of a failed seat belt or non-deployed airbag?

And this would go for any other foreign country, really. It's just that China and India are so huge the math really reveals proportional disclosure of the actual statistics.

If I have ten dollars in my pocket and I need something essential that I can get at the local market for 18 dollars;

or go down the street to Wal-Mart (where a bunch of local people work) and pay 8 dollars for the same Chinese import......

What do you do? There's theory and there's practical reality. And I guess it's how much you need the "widget" in the above example.

Now hey, let's say I have bank accounts with billions of dollars. Or just doing really, really well. Then, sure, of course, I have the luxury of being a true patriot. And sure, I will buy U.S. made items as often as possible.

But if I am walking down the street under the subtle but ever-present heavy spirited stress of wondering "How I am going to pay 'such and such' next week or tomorrow" it's not a matter of Patriotism, but survival.
The corporate conglomerates that manipulated politician's grubby little green-greased palms (of years past and even present) have directly and indirectly put us in a position to where many cannot afford to support their own country economically.

You want to support this country? Go volunteer somewhere in your town and help another local in need. Send your charity donations somewhere in this country, instead of some exotic locale to make it seem more worthy. Go to a retirement home and tell some old guys (that were as young as your are now, once) a few jokes that really made you laugh lately. They might have heard 'em already, but they will still appreciate your presence. Take some flowers with you and give them to some "young lady" while you're there. Pay it forward next time you can, however you can. Be a human being to someone else who's doubting humanity.

That's patriotic.

So hey, I digressed a bit, but if I can get good DIY to where it's going mostly, at least, to support this country, then yeah, sure.

But I am not going to purchase inferior product for an inflated price based on the possibility of a partial maybe that could or couldn't be true.Yeah, that's meant to sound that way.

Here & There
I just spoke to a woman today that says the nic comes from China, straight from her mouth. Not sure where this USA came from, because I thought the same.

All other vendors except for RTS vapes do NOT claim their nic is USA sourced. He is I am pretty sure the only one---still find that VERY puzzling how no one else in this particular business was able to do this but him. :2c:

All I know is that I like and trust Wizard's product and Wizard the owner's integrity in producing the product and going above and beyond for his customers and his stellar reputation and treatment of his customers. It also helps any doubting Thomases that our resident chemist Kurt liked the Wizard product. For taste details on all bases familar to people on this forum read the Nicotine Comparisons thread.

As far as China, how much of what is in your house right this minute is from China....

Holy heck. Wow. Listen to everyone who has their panties in a bunch about their favorite vendor. I simply stated a fact. I called and got that info and simply stated it. I thought that's what forums were for. No? So to all the people all over me asking what supplies in my house are from china (which I don't inhale but we will leave that there) and questioning my patriotism, just stop. I'm sorry if you took my simple factual statement as an attack on your beloved WL. I've never bought nic. I have no opinion on any supplier!!!! Give it a rest.

But why Shilo, why is that a problem? Wouldn't that be a good thing? Wouldn't we all be better off if we didn't have to wait on a boat from China? Can't anybody see we have a very serious problem in our country today? That boat is not coming in the future.....its going to be horrific.

This is becoming more enlightening all the time. Interesting, indeed.

That was my stupid comment, lol . .it was supposed to be a joke because RTS, who does actually claim (and I assume it's true) usa extracted nic had been down for maintenance for several days when I made that post. And of course, a small zing at the suppliers who claim USA this or that .. but if you look closely they don't actually state the origin of their nic.

Just to be clear . .I like WL and will continue to purchase from them . .you know, if I am ever able to again, lol.

I do think that statement about the nic coming from a J&J provider could lead somebody who is reading quickly to assume the nic is made by J&J (and probably in the USA since J&J is a USA company). .that's what I was sort of joking about. It was a bad joke, though . . not intended to ignite any kind of controversy.

I am sorry if I personally caused any confusion and I went to the actual WL webpage to get a quote and try to clear that up.

I think, with very few exceptions, that if you don't get your nic from another country [read China and India], you aren't going to have nic:)

Hope so! I check their site a couple of times a day!

For anyone waiting for a nic order from WL, just wanted to let you know that I just received email notification that my order has been shipped. I ordered on the 11th, and I ordered ICE.

It looks like they may be finally catching up!

HI Renolizze, I made the statement, because thats what it says after I clicked on the nic. At the very bottom of the product describtion of Vapingextremes nic, it says Made in the USA. Don't know if im reading it wrong......someone check it.

This sort of thing comes up over and over again: the NIC can come from China, India, the moon, it doesn't matter a bit: the fact that they mix the nic into PG/VG in the USA means they can say it's "made in USA". This is allowed by the labeling laws surrounding the claim.

This is the same thing dozens and dozens of nic juice suppliers do. If they mixed the ingredients in the USA, it's made in the USA even if every ingredient came from outside the USA. It's all allowed as it is being "primarily assembled" in the USA...from foreign parts.

Neat, huh?

ETA: You have to look for an expressed claim that it is created from nicotine sourced from the USA. The moral of the story is that "Made in the USA" is simply too vague to mean what you (and most people) read it to mean.

I don't actually see that except on NicVapeand Xtreme Juice Products which says made in the USA. Whether all the ingredients are from the USA, I do not know:)

Wait, I see under nic "8oz (236ml) of 100mg/ml or 10.0% nicotine. Mixed with the highest quality Propylene Glycol USP Grade Kosher Certified or Vegetable Glycerin USP Grade Kosher Certified. Made in the USA. " I think the PG and VG is made in the USA but you could always ask them if it is important to you.

For instance,, they also say "USA grade Pure 100% USP Grade Propylene Glycol (PG) " which probably means that there grades to PG like there are with beef: USDA Choice, USDA Prime, etc. I would have to do more research to find out if that is the case. Or I would have to ask VapingExtreme to explain.
