Well I'll be darned, the honey concentrate that tasted like just like perfumey flowers after mixing fresh. Well I had been letting it steep this last week and I just tasted it and it totally changed to a sweet honey like flavor.

I mixed it with tobacco concentrate because instead of buying the honey tobacco I figured I'd mix my own. That is the most changing flavor I have tasted so far from steeping, it's really good. I'm amazed that it went from tasting like inhaling potpourri to a delicious honey flavor just from steeping. I can't wait to try it after a few weeks.

I know the normal taster's test of 5%, then add to taste ... I was just curious if RY4 fell under the tobacco category of "<1% and for a month"

Not really the same as a pure tobacco, last i checked what flavors make up the original ry4 were Tobacco, carmel, vanilla, brown sugar, bavarian cream so it's more of a pre-packaged e-juice all in one flavor rather than a single flavor concentrate.

Maybe my question has been answered in previous posts and I missed it, but on my next order I want to try the Black Honey Tobacco Flavor (TFA) and was wondering, do you use it by itself or add other flavorings? How bout steeping time, and does force steeping help?

I think it's pretty good. As a stand alone, or with vanilla. I use it with French Vanilla, and it's pretty decent.

It has been described as a pipe tobacco. I think of it as dry cut and smooth.

As for steeping, I wouldn't know? I have a bottle here mixed 2 days ago, and it's great.

*Also, on the steeping note: I realized that even though I don't believe that what I mixed requires weeks to steep to be enjoyable, I have, however, realized that giving the mix ~12-24 hours shaking and sitting time allows the nicotine to mix a little more. This is beneficial, and I was wondering why I was nic-fitting after every fresh batch :D A few hours later, everything settle better, and I'm back to chain vaping.

I have never tried it above 4%. I suppose it's all on how much flavoring you like. I use it as so:

4% Black Honey
10% French Vanilla
3 drops of ethyl maltol (one of the few blends I like EM in)

I have tried adding weird stuff to it, like Raisin, and brownie, lol. It didn't work too well. However, I find that authentic fruits go good with it (at very low%). In fact, I share my Black Honey Tobacco atty with my Blueberry blend, and they work great together.

My mix of tobacco concentrate and honey concentrate is quickly becoming a favorite. I will definitely be mixing a large batch of it to steep this week. I'm also thinking it will make a great base for a menthol or even other mixes, but for now Keeping it simple taste great.

I also would suggest for anyone just starting to DIY, keep your recipes simple like 3 ingredient mixes. Making a good base first, then expanding with hints of other flavors later.

Yeah, tell that to the mixture of butterscotch, milk chocolate, butter rum, vanilla, and ethyl maltol that went into the toilet :D

I think we all have done that lol. Another reason I try not mixing after vaping all day because I'll mix it stronger than it should be.

Also, stop pouring stuff down the toilet and label a bottle "mystery juice" and dump all your stuff in there so you have something funky to steep to entertain me.

Everyone should make a mystery juice bottle for my entertainment for all their liquid they would normally dump out. I took an empty medicine bottle and washed it for mine.

Mystery juice makes me wanna rik-rolled.gif

alright so i just wanted to share a picture of the finest juices on the planet.. now for sale just hit me up... it will be $100 for a 5ml bottle. lmao... good stuff guys!! View attachment 152851

I'm honored I have my name on a bottle with my recipe lol (Mack is my real name btw). I want to try Levitas and str8v8ping's mix now.

I'm thinking we should all make a must have flavor list for our next orders. So that when one of us comes up with a recipe we can all try mixing it. Like each one of us writes down must have flavors, then we all vote on which flavors should be on the list. Just a thought.
