For the Noobs/less informed
Wizard labs works everything up by hand and uses extreme caution to produce best possible product results.
They are extremely popular and sell out FAST. They also restock supplies FAST and are rarely out of anything for more than a few days.
Their recent move has caused some additional peaks and dips in supply while training new associates and filling waiting orders. Things are starting to settle into a more normal operational pattern.

not being rude, but do you have inside information as to the operation of WL? I find it a little suspicious that they ran completely out of nicotine.

Just a thought here. Anybody ever freeze a flavored drink in a clear plastic bottle and notice how the flavoring seems to separate from the rest of the fluid and become concentrated at one end of the bottle? I wonder if something similar doesn't happen when you freeze the nic and if it would be a good idea after thawing to give it a warm bath and lots of shaking before mixing.

Could've been a nic "hot spot" that gave your mix a higher potency than you thought you mixed it at?

Have you tested the nic level of your final mix?

An excellent point here.

Even though PG base would not freeze at normal freezers, it could separate from the nic.
A good practice would be to leave it at room temp. and shaking well before mixing/cutting down.

That's a really good question?

Maybe one of the chemist could speak to this?

I have always been a bit concerned about the complete mixture of the solution and heat my mixes slightly to get a thinner mix and then shake them well. The thickness of vg combining with the thinner pg.

Danny, was your nic vg or pg? did you test the final juice?

No it should not need shaking if you bought it from RTS.

And, I'm sure this applies to all the other vendors also. That was the answer to the question, "Does 100mg/ml nic in PG need shaken before a juice batch is made."
I remember reading that Kurt also said this. But, I think its possible to have a "hot spot" if it wasn't mixed well.

I have not experienced what danny describes, whether from WL reg. or RTS that I have taken from the freezer, but it is "odd' and a concern that needs addressed.

im thinking that WL didnt actually run completely out of stock on nic. i know that other venodrs who receive tons of orders typically "out-of-stock" popular items as a way to catch up on orders. of course its entirely possible that they did indeed run out of nic, but its also possible that they just became completely inundated with orders and as a way to be courteuous to custoemrs who placed an order, they get caught up then remove the out of stock notice from their popular product.

This is why I chose not to respond. I thought it was a bit rude to assume I was a noob or less informed when I've been successfully making mixes for quite a while now. I may not be a pro at this but I've made my ADV's for long enough to know when something is drastically different. I then pulled out another bottle of wizard labs NIC from the freezer I bought recently to stock pile and it was fine.

Danny, as you well know you are not the only one that has complained about this.

On their home page bolded in yellow.
"UPDATE 8/14/13
We are periodically restocking nicotine solutions as our lab schedule allows. Currently the demand continues to exceed our production capabilities, and higher concentration solutions sell out within a few hours of restocking. In order to help meet the demand, we've signed a new lease to double the size of our facility, and construction has already begun on two new labs. Barring any unforeseen delays, we should have the first lab operational within the next 2-3 weeks. Once both labs are fully staffed, we hope to be able to safely double our current production and reduce or eliminate the current delays and stock restrictions."

Looks like they are in the weeds, and maybe you got a bad batch in their rush to meet customer demand. Ive ordered NIC from them 3 times in the past and keep going back due the consistency/quality. Not making excuses for them, just sharing the info I have.

It sucks to read this thread. I ordered from WL about two weeks ago for my first DIY stuff because of all of the good reviews and hype everyone was giving them. I ordered 24mg because that's what I use, and I didn't want to mess with trying to dilute anything just yet. I was about to call and cancel the order today because it hadn't shipped yet (two weeks later). Just before I got ready to call, I got a notification from them that my order shipped. I hope that I don't have any problems.

I can also confirm that they haven't been answering emails. I sent two last week and I still haven't received a response. A phone call will get you right to a receptionist though.

I am the original poster and don't get me wrong. Wizards lab is a fine company and because one of my orders of NIC had a problem does not mean all there NIC is bad. I've ordered from them on 3 separate occasions and other then that one bad bottle the rest was fine. Unfortunately I ordered that bad bottle 4 months prior and stored it in the freezer. As I had it so long I did not even attempt to return it and my most recent purchase was just fine.

Also about shipping delays and not receiving responses back. You have to realize they are in the process of moving into a larger facility and are in the midst of reorganizing. Once they get fully up to speed you will see service vastly improve. This is true for any company suffering from growing pains. So be patient.

It took them a while to process my order. I got upset and submitted a cancellation request via their website. I received a prompt reply from the owner, apologizing for the delay and explaining the situation. Though I canceled my order, John had sent me out a gift, a bottle of nic, similar to the one I had initially ordered.

They are in the process of acquiring 2 more labs to accommodate demand. I apologized for getting upset, and asked if I could pay for what he had sent out, and he refused to accept it. So I went back to the site to see what was in stock, and bought a couple bottles of VG and some diy supplies.

In my opinion Wizard Labs has already exceeded my expectations. I did not see the announcement that was posted on their storefront so I was not understanding of the delay.

I'm excited for the 2 new labs in production and wish them great success. If I happen to catch them with nic in the meantime, I'll be buying them out lol.

If anyone is experiencing issues, be sure to submit a ticket.

Nate

I was just looking at ordering through wizard labs....maybe I shouldn't!! Are they the best supplier for nic/PG/VG that you have found?

I get mine at Box Elder Chemical Supply (Box Elder Chemical Supply). Right now they have 500ML 100/Mg/Ml for $55.96. I have purchased from them for years. It has the certificate of analysis MSDS etc. listed.
