Oh how funny, I have 8 cartons of the same in my fridge!! Thinking I should go pass them out at the homeless shelter! :)

I know what you mean! I have 4+ cartons of menthol cloves on my shelf. Haven't even wanted one since June 6, the day after I got my first 510. I have tried to figure out what to do with mine, too, and I considered the homeless shelter. But, considering they have now been banned, it seems like a mean thing to do to take them over there. If someone really likes them, they can't get more, you know? So here they sit.

I, too, am enjoying all of the folderall that goes along with e-cigging. The flavors, the mixing... I don't even mind the maintenance and restuffing the carts. The routine is fun, and experimenting is even more fun.

Never a fan of menthol or cloves, I've never tried them and had no idea they'd been banned . Do you think they'll go stale? Might want to find a home for them before they do!

It's funny, I have no desire to hang on to my stinkies "just in case" I want to go back to them. I feel that strongly. It helps that today is a good vaping day!

If you don't mind dripping all the time that is the way to go. The best filler for a cart, for me, is the blue foam. I have heard that a straw mod's makes it better. I will try that soon. I use thick VG. I like the vapor. We are all looking for a better material and bigger cart mods. I have a manual titan. My atty's are 3 weeks old and working fine. I have cleaned some before by boiling them 3 minutes and then dunking them in isopropyl alcohol and then blowing them out. Then drip on the wick before attatching a wet cart. Keep the wicks wet. I will not clean them until I have to. The old ones I cleaned are dead. Most likely because I pulled out the wicking material inside thinking it was loose polyfill. I cleaned them when I didn't need to. Everything I tried has filled my mouth full of liquid at least once except dripping cartless.
Take this with a grain of salt I have only been vaping three weeks.
But I have been ALL OVER these and other forums learning and trying new stuff.
Hope this helps!

UPDATE! My newest fix Is The Silver Bullet! It's a little complicted, but best experience so far.

Yeah, those Cloves will dry up if he doesn't store them in a humidor.

"As a service to my fellow man, I vow to faithfully spread the word about vaping without becoming one of those annoying non-smokers :-x I'm so familiar with."

Boy am I struggling with this one! Always HATED those people and am now trying so hard to let people know there's a better way without being one of them. Have two friends who have 510 kits on order from cignot due to my enthusiasm and amazement over dropping analogs instantly when I got mine. Tonight I went to a dinner party with a person who has his 510 on order. We walked in the door as he was asking questions and another gentleman there says "don't be talking about smoking! Today is day one for me". I asked "cold turkey" he says "yes". So I said "boy have I got something to show you" to which he replies "nope, I don't want anything to do with it I've gone cold turkey many times and have never had any problem". LOL! Now think about that one and remember how often we all said it. "I've quit many times". Really? So we didn't quit then did we! It was all I could do not to beat him with my 510!!!!! Unfortunately, I was him less than a month ago....perhaps worse!!!

I know how you feel! A very good, long-time friend and business associate came into my office on my third day of vaping and I enthusiastically offered my 510 for him to try. Not to be rebuffed by his "no thanks," I tried to offer it to him again with a "no, really, you've GOT to try this!" He looked me right in the eye and said, "I'd rather not, thanks." I pulled back with a shrug and an "okay."

His reaction still vexes me as I have no idea why he reacted this way and nothing more has been said about it. He's come in several times since: I sit across my desk and vape away, he watches me fill a cart, and we just chat on as if there's nothing to discuss. Of course, I can smell him before I see him so I know he finishes a stinky before he comes in. As his profession is a saleman who calls on customers throughout the day, vaping would be an ideal alternative for him. I'm hoping that if I don't press the issue he'll initiate a discussion when he's ready. I'm determined to stick to my vow, though it is hard at times! :D

I've come across the very same thing... anxious to show someone just how a PV can change their life. Many times I was met with a daunting look as if I had just asked them to change religions or consider one. Owning a PV is not as simple as just lighting up the next analog and crushing it out, then on to the next. There's a lot to learn, and I am still learning... but the up side to it all is the pronounced benefits compared with 36 years of smoking. I was ready and wanted an alternative. I suppose the just of it all is the "U have to want to" before you can figure out what's right for you. Or... you need something to scare the wits out of you before you start looking at alternatives. 8-o

People are funny. I learned long ago (psych 101) NEVER to give unasked-for advice.

I also learned long ago that people will SAY they want to change or eliminate a habit (smoking, drinking, lack of exercise, overeating, etc.) but they really don't. While it can be interesting to speculate WHY people say something they don't really mean, uh, it's a time-waster.

With ME, on the other hand, it was a total stranger who introduced me to e-cigs and he ABSOLUTELY was giving me "unasked-for" advice. But in a fun way!

I'd stepped outside of a club to have a cig (analog), joined by the doorman. Some other guys who knew him stopped to chat on their way to another club in the next block.

When I pulled out a pack of smokes, one of the guys said, "Wait! Don't do that -- try this!" He handed me an e-cig out of his extremely cool-looking black PCC from V4L.

I'm all about looking extremely cool. He told me to press the little button and take a long slow draw. I did, got great vapor and started choking. It tasted great, though! And I couldn't believe the "smoke."

We all stood around talking about e-cigs (I'd heard about them but just figured they were another stop-smoking gimmick) for 20 minutes. He told me about the other brands he'd tried. Recommended this one.

I found myself saying to him, "Interesting. I came out her for a smoke. Like I do about every 40 minutes every night I'm in this club. I've had one hit of that e-cig and I don't WANT a cigarette. This is after 20 minutes! That's amazing."

So I went home, read about them, found ECF, ordered my kit, and that's been it ever since.

I really had NO plans to stop smoking. I just thought I'd try e-cigs for the heck of it.

I'm still amazed I INSTANTLY stopped smoking and haven't had any urge to light even one analog.

Then again, I'm open to new ideas, new information, experimentation, etc. PLUS -- this stranger wasn't "telling" me I needed to quit smoking and switch to e-cigs. He was just excited about what he'd found, and wanted to share it.

That's the tack I've taken. I haul out an e-cig in a situation -- I'M excited about 'em, the smokers and non-smokers around me are excited about 'em, I tell 'em about 'em, give 'em this site and the one where I bought my kit -- and that's that.

The owner of the club I mentioned happens to be a cardiologist. He comes in maybe once a night for a glass of wine and to see how everything's going. He's got a great staff to run things (all young smokers). He quit smoking 15 years ago. He's fascinated with my e-cigs. I showed him what I knew about them, told him about my immediate success.

He knows me. Knows what a heavy smoker I've been. I recommended e-cigs to any of his patients who hadn't been able to quit smoking despite heart troubles and even surgery.

Oh, yeah. I'm sitting at the bar beside him, vaping away, talking about carts and atomizers and liquids and nicotine strengths and the FDA. He doesn't mind a bit -- and it's a non-smoking club. He's as intrigued by e-cigs as I am.

I've only been vaping for 3 weeks (including in that club; department stores, grocery stores, etc.). The club's staff have all gotten more and more curious, since they can see I'm not stepping outside every 40 minutes, regardless of weather, to smoke yet another analog. They can see I'm not lying about these things, in other words.

So, I hope they'll join the club. But I can't make them. All I can do is let them see how much I'm enjoying vaping, answering their questions, telling them about the $aving$, and they'll make their first order or not.

Just my two cents.

OK, I am the 'other person' Canute was talking about in this post. I remember leaving them to talk, thinking he would convince the other guy like he had me, but I couldn't add much, as I had yet to get my kit. Well, it's a week later, and I'll bet that guy has had more analogs than I have, and while he didn't want to talk about smoking, I am happy to talk about it, and I'll bet I feel better and more relaxed than him as well.

Canute talking about it is the only reason I even tried this, his enthusiasm got me to give it a try, and boy am I glad I listened! Still only a few days into it, but I am also excited and happy about it. I do NOT want to be "that guy", but it was only because I knew Canute well enough to listen when he was excited about it to give it a shot. (NOTE- He was NOT "that guy", just a friend excited about something cool)
