Yeah I went for 4%, I'd definitely go less in a mix but stand-alone it's quite nice at this level.

Hmmm.... so I shaked and vaped the Nanaimo Bars at 4% and it's not bad! I think it needs some time to age though, for me at least, I'm not much for shakin' and vapin'. It does taste like Nanaimo Bars but it's missing the custardy component that I think will come with aging after maybe 10 days to 2 weeks. It's buttery and chocolatey but the custard is just not there like I was expecting.

That being said, I'm vaping it and enjoying it.

I only mixed up a 10ml tester - guess I'd better go back and mix up 50ml. :vapor:

Been vaping this Nanaimo test at 4% 50/50 non-stop. I can't really describe every taste from it as it's young and I can tell it needs to age some as is typical with bakeries. But honestly I think it's gotta be the best chocolate I've ever had, even though there's more to it than that. And it's probably my favorite WF flavoring. If it only gets better with steep then this is basically a one-flavor ADV for me.
What is the flavor supposed to be?

Darn it! I should have grabbed a bottle but I have a brand new bottle of INW Vanilla Cream here and it's really awesome. Next time...
I thought it would be just a stronger tahitian, but its a different vanilla altogether. On day 3 here it tastes much like a sweet vanilla icing. Probably not everyones cup of tea per se, but, promise shows for a good one IMO

So, for an update here:

WF SC Nanaimo Bars - awesome at 4% after about 10 days. Does it taste like a real Nanaimo Bar? Not really but it's a pretty good facsimile considering it's a vape. The only thing I would add to this is a dash of custard, maybe Cap's V1 at around 2% (just to bump that custardy taste I expect from my Nanaimo Bars).

WF SC Honey Roasted Peanuts - very long on dry peanut taste, not much in the way of honey. At 4% it's too much for me and this is not going to be a stand-alone anyway. At 1% though it's going to make a nice addition to any recipe that has TFA Peanut Butter in it to spike that nutty flavor up a notch.

WF SC Butter Tarts - ????? I made a stand-alone mix at 4% and for me, it's too strong and doesn't taste like a butter tart at all. In fact, I can't even describe what it tasted like but it was not good. I'm going to need to cut this in half and try again.

And I see WF has released some more SC flavors:

Blackcherry Jelly Bean
Buttercream Frosting
Cocoa
Coconut Custard
Crepe
Crispy Wafer
Frozen Yoghurt
Grenadine
Lemon Lime Soda
Lemonade
Pistachio Cream
Ripe Galia Melon
Tangerine
White Fudge
Triple Strength Sweetener

Can you tell which 2 I'll be buying next? :D

Hi Ceeceeisme,
Thanks for your flavor reviews.

May I ask how long you had them steeping?

I have mixed testers for:
SC Molasses (WF)
SC Honey Roasted Peanuts (WF)
SC Deep Fried Pastry Dough (WF)
Roasted Pecans & Cream (WF)
Vanilla Ruyan Custard (WF)
Cinnamon Pastry (WF)
Caramel Butter (WF)

The SC mixes at 2% and others at 6%.

They were mixed three days ago, can't wait to sample them.
Planning on giving them one or two weeks steep time.

Hi Frosty! Long time no see...

These have been steeping for 10 days now. I'll have to revisit the Butter Tarts after I dilute my mix down to 2%. For me, I've found that most concentrated flavorings are best somewhere after 20 days or so. I was kinda in a rush to try these (so I did) however I feel they'll be better after a bit more time.

I'll be interested in hearing what you think of the flavors you're ordering this week.

This is my first actual flavor review.
Testing was done using 510 Joyetech dripping atty's from 7.5 to 8.5 watts.
They were all mixed at 50/50 PG/VG & 12 mg/ml with Nicselect nic.
Tested them 10 days after mixing as single flavor mixes.

SC Molasses (WF) @ 2%:
Color of the liquid is really really light shade of yellow, almost transparent.
From smelling the liquid I get an authentic smell of molasses.
The taste is also spot on molasses to me.
I will use this at 0.25, 0.5% or 1% as an accent in my mixes.
This will replace TPA Molasses in my flavoring stash.

SC Deep Fried Pastry Dough (WF) @ 2%
Liquid is light orange.
To me, this one tastes exactly like it's picture or tastes like a glazed donut with no glaze.
It leaves a pleasant aftertaste in my mouth similar to the one I get after eating an actual donut.
This is not a bold flavor like molasses and has a full mouthfeel.
I will actually try increasing the concentration of this flavor to get a bit more out of it.
This will be a good base for donut recipes.
The smell of the vapor is pleasant!

SC Honey Roasted Peanuts (WF) @ 2%
Liquid is almost clear.
At first taste, I said, "Wow its really salty, how do they do that?", then, I started tasting the roasted component, and after, the taste of peanut seed coat, then the cotyledon, the kernel of the nut. After vaping quite a bit of it, I get all components in a good balance with the kernel of the nut taste coming through with the other parts to accent them. I do not taste a lot of honey but that may be because I am confusing it with the roastiness or because of my equipment.
I agree with Ceecee that it would be a good accent for peanut butter!
I have some other ideas for this and I plan on mixing a peanut brittle with this.

Vanilla Ruyan Custard (WF) @ 6%
Liquid is orange.
This one cough me by surprise, to my taste buds, this is a tobacco flavor and I will use it as such.
I get a creamy, sweet pipe/cigar tobacco like flavor from this, the tobacco note reminds me of RTS's Cohiba SC flavoring.
Too strong for me at 6%; I will use in a tobacco mix at a lower concentration. I may even replace that cohiba flavoring with this one.

Cinnamon Pastry (WF) @ 6%
Liquid is light yellow.
I tried all kinds of cinnamon/roll/danish/pastry flavors, a few were good but most were not to my liking.
Some did not get the pastry right some did not use the correct cinnamon.
This tester smells nice, kind of smells like my cinnamon danish mix.
This one is done right; the pastry component is really good and the cinnamon is a proper baking type one; both are well balanced.
It's a really good well rounded single flavor.
Using this flavor as a base, I will I boost/accent the cinnamon in a mix with FLV Rich Cinnamon.
I think that the pastry part holds it's own so well that it can replace or complement NF Danish Pastry in my cinnamon danish mix.

Caramel Butter (WF) @ 6%
Liquid is light orange.
I have tried lots of caramels and only kept four of the best of them for my mixes.
I do have a hard time with caramels as many of them just taste like sweetness to me.
I was prepared to be disappointed as usual with this one but it did not disappoint me, I was actually pleasantly surprised.
I get a nice gooey caramel cream with a hint of butterscotch, this can be the flavor that all those other caramel cream type flavors tried to be but failed.
WF Caramel Butter will join my caramel flavor collection and, I think I will label it as caramel cream.

Roasted Pecans & Cream (WF) @ 6%
Liquid is light brown in color.
I taste the pecan's and cream and a light roastiness, as usual, the flavor matches it's description and image on the WF site, as most of their flavors do.
My plan is to use this flavor in an ice cream mix.

Conclusion:
All and all, I am really pleased with these flavors, in general, they are what they say they are, they are true to their names.
They seem to be ready quickly as in they don't seem to need to steep for long periods for the flavor too come through.
I have yet to test how they hold out in mixes but, going from your comments in this thread, I have the impression that they will mix well. After acquiring more of them, I will try out the recipes posted on their site like some of you did!

This week I will be receiving and mixing testers of:
Crispy Wafer SC
White Fudge SC
Buttercream Frosting SC
Vanilla Cream Extra SC
Cocoa SC
Tahitian Vanilla Cream
Chocolate Chunks

Hi Rayonati,

Yes, I ordered directly from the website and they get here quickly!

I will hunt down your previous posts about the recipes you tried in order to mix them for myself. If I remember correctly, you said that two were really good right?
Ah and I see you are right there in Montreal! Cool! That's where they are made, I bet they made it to you in lightning time. I only live 2 hours away but in the US so the shipping takes a while crossing the border. I should just drive up there. Was up there recently at jazz fest. King Crimson, baby :headbang:
