Cool!
Yes, it gets here quickly!
It's fun and kind of different to actually buy flavoring locally, instead of buying it from the U.S. (TPA, CAP, FW) or Italy (FA) or from Poland (INW) or Russia (BF).
Ironic that I learned about WF here first :)
Jazz fest is cool, have not been in a while though.

I mixed the second series of testers this week!

Does anyone know if Chocolate Chunks is a dark chocolate, a semi sweet chocolate or a milk chocolate?
I could not tell by the concentrates smell alone.
Thanks!

I was pleased to discover that Cocoa is not a dark flavoring.

The Buttercream Frosting concentrate smells fantastic!

I imagine the Sloth will be along shortly to answer that question :)

I have Chocolate Chunks here but I've only made up one mix so far and I haven't even tried it yet. It's somewhere, lost among my sample sized bottles. I'll pull it out on the weekend and try it.

FrostyMTL, I have been trying a bunch of caramel flavors lately and have also been disappointed with most of them. WF Caramel Butter is the closest thing to what I'm looking for but it's still not exactly what I'm after. Would you please share the 4 caramels that made it into your collection before WF Caramel Butter?

Hi Lantana,

Besides Caramel butter, these are the caramels that I held on to and that I still use:

FA Caramel
FLV Caramel
FW Caramel Candy
LA Naturals Creamy Caramel
HS Caramel Toffee
TPA Caramel Candy

P.S.
A bit more than four, but I still use all of them depending on the application.
I really like a mix of 1% FLV Caramel with 1% FW Caramel Candy.

I've been stalking this thread for a while now, reading all the positive comments about Wonder Flavors, and decided to give them a go, since Gremlin DIY was carrying them. Great service by the way. Ordered on the 8th, received on the 10th along with a "FREE" 30ml sample of Real Flavors Bananas Foster. I've mixed testers of 9 regular, (6%) & 5 SC flavors (2%), as well as 2 of the recipes from the Wonder Flavors website. Now the waiting begins... :D I picked up:

Butter Pecan Pie
Butterscotch Cream Pie
Caramel Butter
Caramel Rice Crispies
Cinnamon Pastry
Hazelnuts and Cream
Peach Pie and Cream
Roasted Pecans and Cream
Tahitian Vanilla Cream
Vanilla Cream Extra SC
Butter Cream Frosting SC
Coconut Custard SC
Pistachio Ice Cream SC
White Fudge SC

The 2 recipes I made were: Buttercream Pecan & Sticky Caramel Cinnabun.

Hopefully, I'll find some stand alone gems as well as some interesting additions for future recipes...

I look forward to your findings!!!

I'm having a hard time justifying buying anything else at this time - I have just about 200 bottles of flavorings here and I keep thinking I don't have enough :eek:

I'm loving the Chocolate Chunks. I made up a recipe based off of the one the Sloth pointed to on ELR. I call it ChocoNut Shake:

INW Biscuit 0.5%
WF Chocolate Chunks 5%
TFA Dairy Milk 1%
WF Hazelnuts and Cream 3%
FA Marshmallow 1%
FA Meringue 0.5%
TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 3.5%

Age 10 days. :thumb:

I'm so excited for the new SC flavors. My 3% coconut custard sample has only steeped 2 days but I may try it tonight!

I'm betting it would go well with a CAP VC1/Nanaimo mix!

I have a 4% Nanaimo Bar with 2% Cap's VC V1 mix steeping as we speak. I expect it to be the bee's knee's. Coconut would also be good, for sure.

Some people add shredded coconut into the bottom chocolate layer of Nanaimo Bars and it's good! Or chopped roasted pecans or walnuts, that's good too.
It's all good...

Just sampled this after a week, amazing so far...may bump up the baccy next time, but very nice:

Butterscotch Ripple (FW) 2.5%
Caramel Rice Crispy Treats (WF) 1%
Roasted Pecans and Cream (WF) 2%
Aged Burley (Stixx Mixx) 4%
Tahitian Vanilla Cream (WF) 3%

The roasted pecans flavoring blends excellent with the tobacco and the rest is there for filler really...so good.

As an aside, I think I prefer the Tahitian to the new SC Vanilla...curious about others? The new vanilla tasted so good to me early on then lost its flavor...I'm thinking even though 4% is the upper limit of WF's suggestion, it may be such a strong flavoring that 4% is actually "overflavored" to my palette resulting in no taste.

I've got the new vanilla in some mixes at a lesser % and it seems to hold the flavor better however the Tahitian still seems a better vanilla to me.

Testing: 10ml single flavor & 20ml recipe samples were mixed by weight @ 30/70 PG/VG & 6 mg/ml with RTS nic and aged for 14+ days. Toppers were Serpent Mini RTA's with KGD organic cotton & UD 24ga SS316L wire for 3mm .32 & .33ohm single spaced coils. Samples were tested in Power Mode @ 30 - 35w & in TC @ 30W/420 - 450F. Power was provided by a Jac Vapour DNA75 & Aspire NX75-A. Each sampling gets a fresh juiced wick & 2ml of liquid. Subsequent tasting was done as I usually do in TC, vape the wick practically dry & add a new flavor.

These are just my opinions & you know what they say... Keep in mind, I love custards, creams, nutty things & bakeries. I'm not particularly good at flavor descriptions. I'm lazy & typically mix simple, straight forward recipes & really like premade blends or single flavors that can stand on their own. I hoped most of the flavors I ordered would be just that. Mix, age & vape. I've pretty much vaped these exclusively for the last 6 - 7 days. That said, here we go...

Caramel Butter 6%
Caramel is very mild & a bit thin. Kinda disappointed, was hoping for a rich, buttery blend but that's not what I'm getting. Maybe a higher % will help, but I'm not sure I can get there from here. This one seems better with more heat & I liked it slightly better in power mode @ 33w...

Caramel Rice Crispies Treat 6%
My favorite of the two caramels. Still light, but slightly richer, with more depth & a better mouthfeel. The better half likes this one standalone @ 9% in her Cubis tank with a .5 coil...

Cinnamon Pastry 6%
Great pastry with a light dusting of mild cinnamon. Personally, I'd like a little more. As is, this would make a great doughnut/danish/fritter base. I can see lots of uses, for the types of juices I vape...

Hazelnut & Cream 6%
Really good, nice smooth blend of hazelnut & cream. Great standalone for those who like nutty vapes. I think a touch of something sweet would really make this shine. Whoa, it's all gone...

Roasted Pecan & Cream 6%
A good nutty flavor, (Pecan? Kinda, sorta, not really... for me.), in cream. A suitable standalone for those who enjoy nutty vapes, like me...

Butterscotch Cream Pie 6%
Nice smooth creamy butterscotch with ample crust. I like this one alot, probably my favorite. Likely even better @ a slightly higher %. Guess I'll have to try that, since I've vaped the 10ml sample...

Butter Pecan Pie 6%
This one is pretty good, mild butter pecan, nice filling & a hint of crust. Perhaps a slight % increase could make this one even better. I just loaded the last of it, so we'll see. A 5/1 mix with Roasted Pecan & Cream is tasty. Another one the better half likes @ 9% in her Cubis...

Peach Pie & Cream 6%
Another good one. Nice, sweet canned peach or peach preserves mixed with a sweet cream & a light crust. Maybe a bit too candy like for some. I might bump this up a bit, but very enjoyable as it stands. A 5/1 mix with Butter Pecan Pie is pretty good. The better half is a fan of this one as well in her Cubis. 9% seems to be the magic # for her...

Tahitian Vanilla Cream
Oddly enough, I didn't make a tester of this one. What was I thinkin'? I'll get to it as I test the SC's. It's been 21 days & they're ready...

Buttercream Pecan (WF Recipe)
A rich, buttery blend with a nice nuttiness. Lots of flavor here. The Tahitian Vanilla Cream makes a great canvas for the other flavors. I will definitely make this again, possibly bumping up some of the supporting flavors a bit...

Sticky Caramel Cinnabun (WF Recipe)
Nice flavor profile, but missing the rich caramel & cinnamon notes typically found in such treats. Not bad, just not quite what I hoped for. I think the WF caramels let this one down. A few tweaks could make this great...

Although not perfect, what is? I'm pleased with these flavorings. With a couple exceptions, they are pretty much true to their descriptions & I encountered no off tastes. Most are very good standalone. Many flavors have an underlying sweetness that practically eliminates the need for additional sweetener. As always, YRMW...

A recipe I have been loving is 2% Nanaimo, .5% Buttercream Frosting, 3% CAP VC1, .2% WF Sweetener

Yup, I'm loving the Nanaimo Bars (at 4%) with 2% Vanilla Custard V1 added in. :thumb:

I didn't know there were some new releases - I got distracted by another new Canadian flavor maker hitting the market in July.
