One month analog free! Still using the same atty, batteries and cartridge from day one on my 510. I drip a couple of drips when necessary and don't bother with the poly-fill stuff. The only problem or nuisance I have is the atty comes apart at times when I pull the cart off. I just push it back together and all is well. I wonder how much longer this atty will last me. I've actually been using it for at least 5 weeks. This 510 has been a real bargain! I haven't ventured into the fruity and 100's of flavors of juice that are available as the US tobacco from dfwvapor has really satisfied all my needs. I haven't purchased any extra parts yet, and have only had to purchase an extra charger, usb passthrough and juice. I am a happy vaporerer

I bought an extra atty when I got my kit...I just haven't had the need to use it...so I guess I should be good for another 5 weeks at least. Every now and then the atty doesn't seem to work, but I just give it a twist and all seems well. I guess I should start carrying the backup just in case, because I definitely don't want to have my old one go out on me and leave me vaporless

Throw the carts away, get one of these, and that problem will go away:

I actually use these with both 510 and 808 cartomizers as well. They seem to extend the life of cartomizers since I'm often dripping a few drops in to make sure the filler stays wet.

Less chance of burning your carto filler and having to toss it out after only a few refills. :)

Be mindful that just because you got five weeks out of one, it doesn't mean you'll get five weeks out of the other. I got a month out of my first one, a week out of my second. Confucius say wise man does not wait until the last atomizer is in use to get backup.

I've heard of people doing that. Sounded like a great idea on the surface, but then...why bother at all with the carto if you're going to drip anyway? Seems like you forfeit the carto's strong point (freedom from fiddling with your fuel supply), but still suffer its weak point (concentration of flavor).

I do it just for the feel. In addition, the first time I used a LR carto, my lips got burned on it. Now I just don't like the feel of the metal cartos, so I use a drip tip on them. I don't regularly drip with it. I still take the drip tip off and fill the carto like you normally would. I just use the drip tip instead of the soft white top.
