I just got an email from the company that makes these, now I'm having buyers regret cause before I even get it he's talking about the SP3 and SparkPlug Slim lol

We appreciate your business, and wanted to share a few announcements.

1. We have addressed any potential web site security concerns; our website is safe and your personal information is safe.
2. We wanted to remind everyone: Do not to use the Thermo 6v extension with unprotected batteries.
3. Read the SP2 manual carefully and it will last for a very long time.
4. If anyone received a Thermo 6v extension that has tight threading issues; please let us know. We found some with thread problems from first day of the sale, and will be glad to correct this issue if you have experienced problems.
5. The SP3 and SparkPlug Slim are coming soon.
Also; we pride ourselves on customer support, an quality so please give us an opportunity to serve all of your vaping needs.

If there are things we can do to improve please shoot us an email at customerservice@mcdonaldwebb.com

Can anyone here verify #1? I can't. I've been trying for 3 days.

If you're having buyers regret because of that you mise well stop buying....period. Revisions are pretty much always happening no matter what you buy and if your wait for the next latest and greatest or final revision, you'll never buy one.

It's a great deal - the cheesy batteries and charger but even adding those at this price it's a steal in the mod market with the included thermo tube. You can always pass it along or get some money back on it in the classifieds if you decide the next revision or something else peaks your curiousity down the road.

understood..but I hate 'revisions' before I get my stuff in the mail. That's like buying a new car just and as you drive it off the lot you see a car hauler pull up with next years models

Well, I was adding in the price of two 510 adapters. I mean who wants to be limited to using BE112 atomizers.

yeah, even being a newb to e cigs I can tell the be112 is lacking(compared to my eGo/510)...
I'm using the spark plug with a iGo Carto(with adapters)= awesome so far
my Thermo w/ 17670 has the madvapes dual coil 510 carto(with adapter)= decent

libra, i too would like some more info on the charger and what can or can't be put in there. since it's springloaded it looks to be for multiple sizes but idk ......

I have a feeling it should work for the protected 3vs because he's not offering a separate charger for those.

When I ordered my 3v protected batteries for the Thermo from an eBay seller, a charger was part of the deal. So I'll have 2 chargers to possibly to work with the 16340 batteries but of course I don't want to kil anything if protected or unprotected batteries need different chargers.

A charger doesn't care if the battery is protected or not, but an unprotected battery will care if a cheaply made charger ends up overcharging it.

I would not rely on the included charger at all. It doesn't have any built in charge termination. The light turning green doesn't mean squat. You can get a universal charger with charge termination for less than $5, so it's definitely not worth the risk to use it. I've thrown mine in the trash already.
