ALright, I'm pretty pumped, excuse the excitement. :)

So, I decided to try and change my silica wick out on my Protank coil with cotton butchers twine. I tried to thread a couple of strands through the center of the existing coil, and sure enough, I snapped the coil from it's contact. SO, it's at this point I'm thinking I'm screwed. Well, I just got some 32 gauge kanthal in the mail waiting for my Smoktech RSST to ship, so I thought what the heck, I will try to see if I can wrap a coil and get this thing going again. Grabbed my twine and a needle, wrapped about 6 tiny wraps around 3 layers of twine using the needle for a guide. Having no idea what I'm doing, I cut the wires with enough play to kind of wedge them for positive and negative connections. After 3 hours of sheer determination to get this to work, I am now in vaping heaven at 1.9 ohms and my new cotton wick....so much cleaner tasting and plumes of vapor. I had to share my trial and error success story. Persistence definitely paid off tonight, I like my coil better than the stock!
