Really no one from dalaran? Multiple ally toons on dalaran. Tatatoothie rogue and Riptomjones pally both mains though tata is starting to edge out rip

Really the funny thing is as your scroll through posts, almost no one is on the same server. I guess that is a good thing, it speaks to how popular WoW still is. If this was DCUO or shortly after Rift opens up, I bet a LOT of us would be rolling around on the same servers. lol

I have to say i've fallen into DC Universe Online recently myself. More brawler mixed with MMO than the cooldown based WoW formula. While more engaging at times, little bugs like the targeting system creep up, but for an infant MMO I"m impressed. I'm thinking of checking out Rift but only if I suspend WoW for a bit 3 MMos = time for professional help imho lol

I've also quit Wow again partially due to getting into Rift and somewhat due to the priest/druid nerfs, - bite me Blizz
Rift is just plain alot a fun...if they can stay away from the char balance thing wow likes to do,I'll probably be playing it for a good while.(re-learning to play my char on a daily basis lately due to hot fixes in wow is NOT fun)

Yep. I had reached the same "Enough is enough" point as well. Funny how the minority population in all these MMO's create the biggest disruptions. If SOE (it makes my head hurt to even think about SOE) hadn't dicked up SWG I'd probably still be playing it...and EQ...and PlanetSide...and anything else associated with SOE.

I too have gotten tired of the rebalancing crap with hotfixes lately myself. Taking a break for a bit might check out 4.1 when it drops but not very likely.

@Johnny I feel you on SoE, I was a SW:G player and loved the game, esp player housing which has just disappeared except in SL it seems. But don't dismiss all the MMOs just because it's SoE, I have been playing DC Universe online and it is very refreshing, and quite good for an infant MMO. A lot more to do, if out of Power (read mana) I don't just stand around, I'm using my main weapons and busting out combos to charge it back up faster. I always seem to be doing something, and the Lore, GOD THE LORE, is so much easier to identify with, and the storylines are really engaging. How can you NOT want Mark Hamill's dulcet voice guiding you as your mentor The Joker? WIN :)

LOL...my hatred for SOE runs deep. So far that I threw out almost everything Sony. The wife wanted a Playstation....I told her she'd have to move out before I allow that spawn of Satan into my house.

My brother and some friends were playing DC Universe for a while. They all said it was good but they aren't playing it anymore. Guess it doesn't have good staying power. I dunno, I don't like to jump around through MMOs so I tend to stick with one till I can't play it anymore.

But ya...Star Wars Galaxies...the only game I actually miss playing after all these years. It was epic while it lasted.

Alliance: 85 NE Rogue, 70 Gnome Rogue, 67 Worgen Hunter, 22 Draenei Paladin, 16 Human Mage
Horde: 21 Orc Shaman, 62 Tauren Death Knight
I’m spread out over 3 servers.
My favorite has to be my twinked out Worgen hunter for the BGs. My partner in crime and I have a pair of gnome rogue twinks (Itzee and Bitzee) and no matter how down I am those two always crack me up. Dropping squishies with a one shot puts a smile on my face too !

From the PTR patch notes:

* Account Bound Items
o Many "Account Bound" heirlooms are now labeled as "Battle.net Account Bound", meaning that they can also be traded or mailed to characters that are on different World of Warcraft accounts under the same Battle.net account.
o Mail sent to characters on the same Battle.net account now arrives instantaneously, as it does for the same World of Warcraft account.
o Mailing account-bound items to characters of the opposite faction on the same Battle.net account will now correctly translate faction-specific items to their appropriate equivalent.

I heartily approve this change. It's one of the only reasons I have never left Area 52...to much invested. Now I can drag myself to another server. Now to decide where to start over lol.

I play on zangarmarsh. Although np where near as much as I used to. I was raiding and got to 7/13 Heroic and bunt out. My druid was the top geared toon on the server when I took a break. I never felt like playing much after that so I did something my wide could not believe...got rid of my account. She was a little bummed since I met her in WoW on that account.

I still have a decently geared Pally there if is on the server and needs a tank for the new 5-mans.

Late addition to the forum here lol but I play Alliance, my main is a holy/disc priest (Rainyk) on Elune US, as well as 2 other 85s on that server (shaman and Druid, working on a Mage atm) in a guild with some awesome people, 5 or so vapers (amazed none of them are on this forum.. i'll have to get on them about that since one of them got me vaping in the first place!) I've played on and off since beta, I actually skipped out of half beta (before they took away the 8 hours of required sleep time to rest) and vanilla, came back mid through BC and have been playing ever since. Leveled my priest holy and have healed ever since. My druid is the only 85 I have that doesn't heal. I also have a couple toons on Bloodhoof US (my old main server) but none of them are 85.
I tried Rift... it was too.. simple for my liking. kinda like a dumbed down version of WoW with some DAOC elements added in. At least that's what I felt.
