Edit, Short Version: Does vaping too much high nicotine juice leave you the same feeling as not smoking for days/horrible anxious cravings?

Hi i have been smoking cig-a like dispoables primarily and using a (cheap) Tsunami 1000x tank to save money. Problem with this brand is that it seems to vaporize everything but good quality VG based fluids HORRIBLY. I have had good experiences with both Velvet Cloud at 18mg and Johnson Creek Red Oak at 18mg. I recently started playing with Njoy King disposables at 45mg and would keep a 24 mg Blu for on the go purposes as my tank will leak fluid all over if its turned upsidown. With Njoy Kings i have noticed i can take 3-4 tokes and just stop most of the time, but as these are way to pricey i looked for a alternative. Njoys are partly what made me think i would want a higher nicotine content as at 45 mg i only seemed to get satisfied quicker and vape less. I heard Mt Baker was quick and good so i ordered 36mg full VG for my tank. This i am worried i may regret.

What i am trying to figure out is if i can use this fluid, as i may have overdosed so to speak, or if i should just try to get different juice asap as this may be a known problem and i screwed up.

It started when i came home to find my new 36mg Butterscotch Tobacco (should be called licorice actually, pre-steeped atleast) and took what i thought was 6 or 7 hits (usually my limit with Njoys). My body felt edgy and i wasn't sure how to proceed, so like normal when I'm anxious i vaped more, maybe 12-20 more hits in different tanks i all filled with the fluid. Now i am in a panic and wish nothing more then to have never tried smoking (partly because i only have 30-40 dollars a week i can play with) and partly because the room is spinning and everytime my cat comes near me i want her to explode into oblivion.

Anyways i would like to say i just had too many tokes, i have overdone taking 1/2 as many tokes with Njoy kings before, but because they are $$ and their batteries only last for like 100 puffs i always remember to stop, Njoys made me shakey while relieving my nerves, this was more akin to the worst nicotine craving I've ever had even though i just vaped too much. Its a bit confusing

Does it sound like i just had to much? Or is something wrong with my Vape? I should note that using PG in my cheap vape has a similar effect except with MORE headspin. I would love a Vivi Nova or something but i have NO cash for that sort of investment.

It sounds like you may have overdosed on the nicotine. You can't be sure of the amount of nicotine you're actually absorbing between different juices, and perhaps the ones that stated they were 45mg, just possibly weren't.

Someone with more expertise should weigh in, but I know if I do anything over 11mg of nicotine, I get shaky and nauseous.

Too much nicotine most likely. I'd order/find a bottle of no-nic VG or PG too and dilute some of the juice with that. It may take some experimentation to find the right level and that level may change as your habits and level of addiction adjust as well. Too much and it will make you sick, not enough and you'll vape like every breath of oxygen had to come out of that device... or you'll light up a cigarette.

It's probably a combo of too much nick making you feel wonky then a mild panic attack thinking you had poisoned yourself. That plus probably dehydration and withdrawals is a nasty combo Take it slow and I honestly wouldn't vape anything over 24mg.

I actually thought that it sounded like an anxiety/panic attack as well. Be careful!

I have a friend who uses 36 because he only takes 2 drag per hour... He even has an alarm on his phone to tell him it's ok. In two weeks he will go down to 24 then 90 days to 18, 90 days to 12 and he is hopping to stay between 6 & 12 as a goal to reduce the harm of Nic (documented poison used on rats)

So, to answer your question: people who have been smoking 2-3 packs a day for 37 years. (During his first 90 days)

I am interested in this as it seems a lot of people seem to be reducing their nicotine intake on these forums, obviously not everybody. Is this a compromise between quitting and still vaping because your used to it/like it. I very much like that i read these posts often enough it actually seems to raise good points for vaping compared to smoking. I stopped smoking fairly quickly when i realized a cigarette could only satisfy me for about 20 minutes, whereas a 5 minute vape session can last me 1 or 2 hours of a decent nic high (not that looking for any nicotine high is the necessarily right thing to do if your trying to quit/reduce your dependence.) That and having circulation issues in my legs you can FEEL a difference if you smoke 1 cigarette for hours, you have to vape for like a freaking 1/2 hour to even notice any issues with circulation.

I get the anxious antsy feeling when I go as high as 18mg nic because I am used to 12 mg these days,Its not terribly bad but I can tell I not used to it.So I would say its a form of high nic,Once I lower my mg I don't feel that way.It is a stimulant.

Thats actually been working, although i am so used to vaping whenever i get comfortable at home I've had trouble adhearing to it. I'll probably buy a 12 or 18mg next time.

Stupid thing is that now that i have free time this week to vape i only have fluid i can use for a couple seconds at a time rather quickly, I used all my old stuff i could have chilled with on prolonged smoke breaks at work last week

I'll cut to the chase, please take my advice with a grain of salt.

1. You're vaping way too much at a very high nicotine dosage (36 is very, very high).
2. You're vaping so much because you want that "hit" to satisfy your craving - cut down the VG and put some PG into your liquids.
3. More PG, less VG = better throat hit = lesser nicotine needed and won't vape so excessively to attain that satisfaction.
4. VG will give you tons of vapor, but you'll vape a lot more to get that satisfaction. In return, the excessive vaping and nicotine will give you headaches, lightheadedness, excessive nicotine symptoms, etc.

Well that sounds like an awful feeling...but don't panic just yet...calm your llama...

I agree with what was said about you getting more and more anxious and this making you feel worse and worse. If buying a lower juice in the meantime isn't an option, try and slow down using your PV if you can. Enjoy taking a hit from it, just like you did with a cigarette. Ritualise it if you have to, but only take a hit if and when you need to.

For chain vaping, you're DEFINITLEY going to need much lower nicotine and as soon as you can, I'd suggest buying some 18mg in the same flavour as what you've already got (providing you like it, of course!). That way, if it's too low you can mix 50% of the 18mg with 50% of the 36mg and get 24mg to see if that works for you!

You're still in the trial and error stage, and it's understandable that you'll make the odd mistake. But you can get through this and all will be well...just keep that llama calm!x

P.S. If I wasn't on my netbook from having broken my PC, I'd totally put in a picture of a relaxed llama here to make you smile...please google a picture of a llama on my behalf!x
