With too much nic you will get antsy start having headaches and slight nausea. I still can't understand why anyone needs over 24mg although many use it..

And the Nic haters don't know why you need it at all. Hell I don't understand why all you low nic people don't just quit all ready your barely getting nic at the 12mg level.

36mg all day hit it once or twice every 10-15 min. That is what it takes to keep me off a 2+ pack a day habit.

I'm still pretty new to vaping but sounds to me like to much nic. I did have kind of similar results the weekend after I got my Vamo. I was loving the vape and would just chain vape all day. After several hours I realized I was going overboard with 24mg juice. I have since dropped down to 11mg juice and can vape all day with no issues.

    Thanks for the Llama :)

I have found that i need 1-4 hits depending on the time of day, i can't "spike" my intake when i haven't had any (in the morning for example) This is strange as with low mg fluids i usually smoke the most in the morning. Now i find that i need to ease into it.

So the good news is the fluid works, but seeing as i could get good flavored fluid in about the same time it will take to steep what should be called "Black Licorice" Mt baker to turn into "Butterscotch Tobacco" i might as well try to buy some good JC fluids. So 10ish 15 max takes a hour, 4 tokes would actually be fine if i am trying to be careful in a hour. Its so odd not being able to sit their and make a ominous cloud of vapor infront of the telly. other then that no problems.

Also in conclusion. DONT try to mix high Nic vapor with water in a week vaporizer/tank, this seems to give you a really unpleasant body high (forgot to mention that in first post.) And i suppose be aware that Cig-a-likes that are 45mg might actually be weaker then some 36mg fluids, no idea why, but seems to be the case.

And the Nic haters don't know why you need it at all. Hell I don't understand why all you low nic people don't just quit all ready your barely getting nic at the 12mg level.

Although i am sure its still better for your lungs to have the least hits possible, their is a nice appeal in vaping over and over at low nic levels. And realistically reducing your need for nicotine should only improve your life. Its nice to have something that can relieve stress, but supposidly Nic in general increases it, so i have to imagine somebody who NEEDS 24 or 36 mg constantly may be a unpleasant person to deal with. Nicotine is a nice poison, but still, i think the happier you can get with less of it the better.

PS: I would not recommend a Tsunami 1000x to anybody, it works okay with VG, but with PG it doesn't burn hot enough or something and even at low nic levels you'll feel like your drinking it or something, thats a different post, but in a nutshell i can't really recommend it for somebody. If you want to go cheap buy a good set of name brands here and rake in the saving in the long run by not having to look for a new tank system. Plus tsunami tanks seem to be 3x more expensive then say Vivi Nanos etc (and their not rebuildable like said brands)

I got a little buzz and lightheaded after trying out my new Halo Triton yesterday. Happened after a few hits. Kind of like when I smoked my first cigarette. Wasn't sure what level to get, so I gut the 24mg. Should have gone lower, but as I was smoking organic tobacco cigarettes, I was unsure of the level of nicotine. I also vaped Blu and Vea, but never got a buzz off of cartos.

Edit, Short Version: Does vaping too much high nicotine juice leave you the same feeling as not smoking for days/horrible anxious cravings?

Hi i have been smoking cig-a like dispoables primarily and using a (cheap) Tsunami 1000x tank to save money. Problem with this brand is that it seems to vaporize everything but good quality VG based fluids HORRIBLY. I have had good experiences with both Velvet Cloud at 18mg and Johnson Creek Red Oak at 18mg. I recently started playing with Njoy King disposables at 45mg and would keep a 24 mg Blu for on the go purposes as my tank will leak fluid all over if its turned upsidown. With Njoy Kings i have noticed i can take 3-4 tokes and just stop most of the time, but as these are way to pricey i looked for a alternative. Njoys are partly what made me think i would want a higher nicotine content as at 45 mg i only seemed to get satisfied quicker and vape less. I heard Mt Baker was quick and good so i ordered 36mg full VG for my tank. This i am worried i may regret.

What i am trying to figure out is if i can use this fluid, as i may have overdosed so to speak, or if i should just try to get different juice asap as this may be a known problem and i screwed up.

It started when i came home to find my new 36mg Butterscotch Tobacco (should be called licorice actually, pre-steeped atleast) and took what i thought was 6 or 7 hits (usually my limit with Njoys). My body felt edgy and i wasn't sure how to proceed, so like normal when I'm anxious i vaped more, maybe 12-20 more hits in different tanks i all filled with the fluid. Now i am in a panic and wish nothing more then to have never tried smoking (partly because i only have 30-40 dollars a week i can play with) and partly because the room is spinning and everytime my cat comes near me i want her to explode into oblivion.

Anyways i would like to say i just had too many tokes, i have overdone taking 1/2 as many tokes with Njoy kings before, but because they are $$ and their batteries only last for like 100 puffs i always remember to stop, Njoys made me shakey while relieving my nerves, this was more akin to the worst nicotine craving I've ever had even though i just vaped too much. Its a bit confusing

Does it sound like i just had to much? Or is something wrong with my Vape? I should note that using PG in my cheap vape has a similar effect except with MORE headspin. I would love a Vivi Nova or something but i have NO cash for that sort of investment.

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like depression and anxiety. Nothing to be ashamed of; I'm diagnosed Major Depressive and have general anxiety. A lot of the time I felt like you described. I take an anti-depressant and Klonopin and they help immensely.

45mg of nic is pretty high, though. You said you had good experience with Velvet Cloud Vapor at 18mg. Why not go back to 18mg. VCV is a fantastic vendor, btw.

It does sound like maybe you're getting too much nicotine. It can cause headaches, nausea, jittery feelings (even "stimulant psychosis" which I recall having off of coffee once way back in college during finals week... it was fun... not), difficulty breathing, fainting, weakness... some other things:

Nicotine poisoning - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Myself, I do not like NJoy having their nic that high. 36 is actually pretty high. The thought of 45 makes my eyes bug out. I was a fairly heavy smoker but I do between 12 and 18 about 99% of the time (have some 24 for when I was trying to kill off that "first cig in the morning" craving).

I'd suggest going down. A lot. Like 18. You already said you had good experiences with 18 (1.8%) from JC. So go back to that level. Or drop to 12 (or around there) even.

Now, since it's MBV you got the 36mg Butterscotch Tobacco from, the best way to rescue that juice (my opinion) is go right back to MBV and order the exact same thing but in 0mg nic. You mean this flavor right?

Butterscotch Tobacco E Juice Baker Vapor - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

See, if you mix the two, 50/50, you'll bring the nic down to 18mg. Set all the other options to the same as you did when you ordered the 36mg version. May need lotsa shaking and some steeping to blend well but you'll cut the nic in half and not have to toss the juice you already spent money on.

    Hey, what works, works.

But people probably ought to start low and come up not the other way round. I was a 2 PAD smoker and thought 24 was where I should start. I found myself wide awake past 2 in the morning on a regular basis. I had to back way down. Most of my liquids are 12 now.

I do vape frequently. More than you describe. Especially right now. I've discovered the DIY section over at MBV and Root Beer flavoring. :)

Everybody's different. But definitely, my opinion, it's better to start low. Come up if needed. But don't go jumping into the deep end of the pool while you're trying to learn to swim. :)

Wow, everyone has posted excellent recommendations! Your OP did have me worried, and I am glad you are doing better. I chain vape when I am home in front of my computer. It's one of the things I love about vaping. I don't have a cigarette burning away to nothing, because I had to have the feeling of a cigarette to keep me calm. I have anxiety and depression and ADHD! I get fidgety easy. Chain vaping at 12mg works to keep everything calm. I will add, though, that I have a bottle/glass/jug of water by my side when I am chain vaping. Also, I've made it a point to make sure the last thing I do before going to bed at night is drink a full glass of water and it's the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. The extra water REALLY helps. Keep hydrated, and let us know how you are doing!

Ya I agree to start low just sick of seeing the constant "over 24mg is suicide!" For some people it is not enough and they will be right back to smoking. Hell I keep a couple of bottles of 48 around just for those really tough mornings.

hydrate like the FDA is going to ban water next month. lower your dosage. your body should be letting you know when to put the PV down. alternative activities to distract you from vaping and not smoking.if you are still having trouble try to treat the vaporizer like a real cig. IE, no vaping in the house, or other places where cigs would be banned. turning the act of vaping into a chore like smoking is a good way to train yourself to put the PV down. like this- inhale, exhale, drink, repeat, and pee as much as possible. keep at it. failure is not an option. your body will acclimate in the space of a month. 2 months after that you will be completely detoxed from tobacco. after that you can make a decision about nicotine. at least remind yourself you are definitely going to feel like crap for a month. but the rewards of that suffering is worth all the gold in fort knox.

That is similar to what happened to me. I had a 25mg liquid and I love to Vape, and I am prone to over-doing it. I was also drinking diet mt dew like it was going out of season and I experienced jitters, headaches, dizziness, and just feeling uncomfortably anxious. I also got hot in the face, and I think it was from being way too stimulated. I cut the dew intake drastically down and have tried to be mindful of how much I am vaping. I also just ordered some new liquid in 10-12mg instead of 18. You get WAY more nicotine when vaping than with analogs, so you have to be mindful of this. Like I had too much caffeine today and I am vaping, but starting to feel out of body and jittery to I am going to set it down and eat something.
