The serpent mini is a beautiful RTA with phenomenal flavor and probably one of the easiest build decks around but I'm not sure I would classify this as a MTL tank. I think as far as MTL the top contenders in the RTA category are the kayfun mini v3 or the hurricane. Now for pre built coils the melo 3 with the airflow closed is an awesome MTL tank Sorry about drifting off topic

threw in a 26 gauge 8 wrap 3mm IAD spaced coil on this thing. Came out to about 1.12 ohms. Vaping it at around 25W. Flavor is great, less cloudz which is ideal for stealth vaping. Pairs nicely with the Eleaf Pico.View attachment 550338

Thanks everyone for the reviews, photos and factoids.

I've liked Serpie's clean and compact looks since I first saw one, but had some reservations over its lack of juice flow control (wicking and leaks while refilling). I've had my fair share of lemons, but the relative consensus here has allayed my worries.

I hope to see more, and more refined, single-coilers in market. Maybe a mk. II of this one that includes Crius-like JFC and a choice of tank/chamber sections for different capacity options (3ml/4ml/5ml). It would be nice to be able to mix and match parts like during kayfuns heyday.

Agreed. And more options for us who prefered MTL or at least a little more restrictive draw. I like single coils way more then all the dual, triples and quads and whats not on RTAs

That's what I did, sandwiched the leads.

Does anyone happen to have a picture of sandwiched leads? I usually use 28 and 26 gauge wires. I have one in 24, but that is Titanium

Love mine, so much flavor, you can keep these 25mm rta's, this little single coil is just so nice to vape

You can see they are sandwiched if the click on the top pic to make it a bit bigger but that's twisted wire I made so a bit easier to trap.... but the principal is the same..

Yeah I purchased 1 melo extra with the mod and tank deal and wished I hadn't . much rather have 2 S.minis. Just as easy to replace a coil I wrapped.

That's my thinking. A well designed single can give you plenty pleasure.

Most of the time I just PIF the Bottles or Battery Case to people I know. I most have 17 Lifetimes worth of Bottles and Battery Cases laying around.

I got ten of them! I thought I was getting 2... They work nicely.

Back on the subject though, I love my serpent mini! Nice restrictive lung, easy to build and no leaks, what amazes me the most is the clouds you get with 23w

I'm thinking of getting one too!

So basically it is a mech mod with side firing button & small safety such as will fire down to .20 ohms but recommended .25 ohms. Will it like the original control voltage drop &
Sleek side-fire tube with constant-voltage board. Board maintains 3.7V to prevent 'battery sag' & cuts off when below charge.? (Copied from Oughtvape on the original Atto).
