Would a change dot org petition help us?

I actually really like the idea of using the term disruptive. To me it implies that vaping has a power behind it to create change, which is has done and will continue to do. It implies that vaping/vapers is/are a powerful force to be reckoned with.

Yes, but it seems to confuse a lot of people. I hadn't heard of it really until this thread. Better safe than turn a potential signer away.

Yeah, the bugs were no joke, and we had citronella candles and torches going and everything.

I'm ready to go with the petition as soon as I get a usable graphic/pic

We, the members of the vaping community, including users of vapor products, ex-smokers, current smokers, and friends and family of smokers and ex-smokers whose lives have been changed by vapor products, and concerned citizens urge you to reject the proposed deeming regulations.

This part's a little too wordy. Maybe, broken out to two sentences..

The vaping community is a richly diverse group that includes those who vape, ex-smokers, current smokers, and the friends and families of those whose lives were once jeopardized by the use of tobacco products. We, the vaping community urge you to reject the proposed regulations that would bring vaping under the umbrella of the Federal Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.

I searched a bunch of creative commons and public domain image sites... a few half-decent ones, but they require attribution via a link (not sure that's even possible with a petition)

I'm still hoping someone from ECF (Jode?) submits a pic you can use.

I wish I could do more.

Perhaps you could do a Please Help Thread for someone to make you a Graphic?

I know there are Many Graphic Artists here on the ECF.

This might be the ticket. There is no great way to say this but I am sorry for raising any hopes of the pic I offered. My daughter got very busy yesterday and without her in picture it just would not have the same effect. I will keep on her a bit but I do not want to hold this up with false promises. Again I am sorry.

I will keep trying but my girly started a new job (called about it right after I posted) this morning. In all that excitement I apologize but forgot I had offered. Was too busy helping her with the kidlets and getting set for her new job today. I will ask again tonight but I also do not want to hold this up. If I get one I will post it.

Hold on, don't go spreading it yet, something is odd. It shows like 6 of the same petition under My Petitions, I'm going to try to clean it up to one.

ETA: nevermind, got it sorted, there's like 5 drafts because of the server hiccups, but only one published petition, and it seems like the image loaded. Share that sucker!
