Hello, I have been vaping for about two months now and one thing I do before I buy anything is go and search several different websites to check out pricing. I see the need for a website where all this information could be easily found. I am in design of such a website. It's going to take awhile to get it to function like I want, but this is what it will have on it. If there is a website like this already, please let me know as I have not found one.

Each website listed will have all of thier products and prices listed, Shipping areas, in stock/out of stock products, flavors, contact information and url link, etc.

This isn't much different than there website, except I am going to place all the DSE901's, for example, together and rate them by price, lead time, and customer reviews. That way if your looking for a DSE901, for example, you can see who has the best price right now.

There will be a search feature that allows you to type in what your looking for and a list/chart will pop up with your search query results. Also, i will have the true Manufacturers names as well as each websites model numbers decifered so a search for a DSE901 will aslo show a true RN4075.

Wouldn't it be nice to go to one place and see where/who has the cheapest Janty Kissbox? Or maybe who has that special e-liquid you want in stock?

My question is: If the above was an actual website, would you use it?

The second question is: What else would you like to see on this website?

The problem I have is this would take a lot of time each day to edit sales pricing, etc. Becuase of that, I will need to charge a monthly fee to gain access to the pricing. I was thinking like $10-$15/month, something cheap for unlimited access each month.

Sounds great, I would go see it. I often go to sites that compare certain items I am interested in. Take a look at somewhere like cnet and their comparison check list. I wouldn't pay for access though and I doubt many other people would either. You can make some money via advertising and links.

Sorry, but the monthly fee is a non-starter. There are many ways of raising revenue from running a popular web site - you need to research this and make an investment of your time before you start investing your money, let alone anyone else's.

The monthly membership fee was just a thought. I have been so consumed about the website comparison technical side that the advertising dollars never crossed my mind. There will be no monthly fee to use the website and I have taken it out of the original post as well. Thank you both for clearing that up!

If there was no charge I'd use it for sure. I think you'd definitely be able to find sponsors if you could get the traffic. But it would be cool to have a central repository for all that info.

Sure thing i will use such a site, will save me a lot of time. Maybe for raising up a little cash, you can also set up an optional fee, like the one that SJ uses for this forum and that many users have promptly subscribed.

The problem I have is this would take a lot of time each day to edit sales pricing, etc.

Now, i am a complete noob when it comes to sites building and maintenance, but i guess that u can set up a web crawler or something to do the updating work for you, instead of doing it manually? Sorry if i stated the obvious or a total bs

SMO, about the webcrawler. It is my understanding that to be legit you have to have the permission to get info from the websites. I'm not sure many website owners would want to their information being compared next to there competition. Thus, I may not get permission to use their information since if they are priced high, it may hurt sales. Some may like it, others won't. I built websites before, but never did any webcrawling like this before. Plus, I always outsourced my SEO.

Another idea is to allow vendors to post their prices directly for comparison. I'm sure you could work out a deal with all participating vendors for click referrals, etc. to just make enough to cover operating expenses of the site.

Not really a whole lot different from what you already do with the supporting suppliers section of this forum, only have it in a comparison matrix.
