Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I use one of these and love it. I don't find it "bulky" at all although I imagine that's a personal thing. When I'm out and about it's around my neck....when I'm at home, I take it out of the case. Easy peasy.

The lanyard is also removable and the pouch can be used as a holster.

Does kind of make sense though - it would be pulling on the tank - continual stress on the threads at least, or pull a tank off it's carto at worst!

I like the Serenity sleeves, but I really don't want to increase the size of my ProVari AT ALL.
For now, they go right in a shirt or jacket pocket...

In fact, I might be interested if a nice sleeve like a Serenity had an option for a "flat clip".

Come to think of it - that'd be neat right on the ProVari. If the grooves around the body were just a LITTLE deeper, it might sport something like this effectively:

As is, I this might work...

Or I could get an old beater 'Vari, and bolt something to it

I had looked at the Serenity site and that was my next best thing. Looks like Provape isn't going to go along with the idea. The response I got was that the ring would cause stress on the tank, not the Provari, and that the tanks aren't that sturdy to begin with. I felt like if the tank was screwed down snuggly, the ring would not pull on the tank. Just my:2c:.

I'm a Serenity Gear flexi-sleeve fan, I keep all of my ProVaris in them. They make the mini about as tall as a full size and not much thicker; I like how the leather stays warm when you hold it. I clip on a lanyard, but carry it in my purse or pocket. The lanyard I fiddle with when I have the ProVari in front of me, so I don't forget it if I have to move quickly. I occasionally wear it around my neck if I'm not going far, but I keep it tucked in my bra. If I don't do that It might swing around and break a rib.

Tim, from Serenity Gear, emailed me and said that custom orders would be opening back up in a few weeks and that he had some leather that was about 1/3 the thickness. That would work for me.

Hmm....that's good news. He told me last week that he wouldn't be taking any more special requests. Maybe i misunderstood the context of that comment.

Nice!! They are by far the best made, IMO. The lanyard is cheesy and I'd definitely replace it with something else. Maybe something green in your case.

I just got my Sleeve in from Serenity Gear and it is really well made. I however do not like the thin rope lanyard and will probably replace it with something a bit thicker to spread the weight of the Provari a little bit. So far it's a great product in my eyes.

No!

I have Parish and Serenity Gear sleeves, and heavy duty QD Nylon Strap Neck Lanyards I bought to carry the mini's in when I go out (I don't take the standard size PV's out). The wide strap of the lanyards handle the mini's comfortably just fine, and it's easy enough to put them in a shirt pocket to keep them in control if the activity dictates it.

This is what I found. Although it was not what I was looking for I am very happy with it and glad that I found it. It is cool to the touch, comfortable to wear and it distributes the Provari's weight nicely. I found it at Micheals in the DIY jewelry area.
