Would It Be Goofy?

My blem Satin Silver arrived today!! I simply can't find anything blemished on it at all. There may be an extremely slight (I mean really slight) variation in the color but that's even debatable. If anything's different about this device is the power button has no play in it at all. Whereas the power button on the non-blemish is looser.

I'll post a side by side picture when I get home later.

Hard to tell from the photo, but the engraving on the right looks a touch shallower. Could just be the way the light is hitting it though.

No difference in the engraving, so it must be how the light hit it and this was an iPhone picture. The only way I'm going to be able to tell them apart is the power button. Blem is firmer. Non-blem has a little more play in the button.

This forum seems to really limit the size of the photo files one can upload?

Even if there was some minor difference, it would easily make a Blem a bargain. With no apparent difference, it makes a Blem a veritable STEAL!

It's a crap shoot. Mechanically they're all going to be sound, it's always going to be a cosmetic defect. The super bad defects get a part replaced, so the blems tend to fall in that middle ground. It could be obvious, or it could be something not easily found. Glad you like it & can't find the defect.

P.S. To share larger photos, use a hosting site like imgur or photobucket or whatever the hipster kids are using these days. Then just paste the URL of the photo between some tags. Then you can post large photos of whatever the hell the Japanese are doing to their produce these days
