Would you still buy a ProVari if Big Tobacco acquired ProVape?

The one thing that would scare me about this, is what if I had to send one of the ones I have, in for repair, what would I get back?

KAS

Sorry, but odds are you wouldn't have to worry about that..

Shortly after the acquisition by one of BT's Big 3, the suits at the new parent company decided that the warranty, even though rarely used, was too much of a cost center, so they phased it out..

Those customers who purchased prior to a certain date were grandfathered in, to a degree, in which they could send in their busted PV, and the company would send to you, upon receipt of payment, a brand new one at a 10% discount... :(

Any vape vendor that sells out to bt for any price is just that, a sellout to what we stand for and what we are trying to change. I highly doubt any vape vendor/manufacture worth his salt would sell out on us for any amount if money. And if they did their product was never worth it

ENAUD,

That list is outdated.. Altria hasn't had a financial interest in Kraft since 2007..

They only do alcohol & US tobacco these days..

They also completely spun off international tobacco a while back..

And even if your list were current, I haven't purchased any of those products in years..

Quite easy to do, actually.. :)

Interesting thread...... :glare:

I guess I am in the extreme minority here but.....

I would probably still do business with provape if BT owned them. This is assuming that the company maintains their current integrity with its current product line and continues to offer the customer service it does. Which is how the question is posed. The question didn't mean to imply anything would change, only your money would be going to BT. I don't care who gets my money. I just want a quality product backed by the highest standards of customer service which Provape currently provides.

If it were to be made in China and there was no noticeable change on my part, then yes, I would still buy. However, that is highly unlikely to happen. Many companies have tried that with keeping their standards high but very few companies are able to maintain their high standards after sending it off to china to be made.

I'm here, when I'm here
Would you put aside any hatred towards BT & send them your money for the love of a new ProVari?

And how about if BT wanted to try to make their ProVape acquisition more profitable, so they shifted parts & labor to China? Would you still buy a Chinese-made ProVari produced with mainly/all Chinese components?

No.

That's like AMF buying Harley Davidson. That didn't work either.

IMO I have a feeling that BT is going to be producing there own PV devices and trying to break in and take over that way being as they will have the money to pay the fines not to mention the FDA and government in their pockets. The people who will buy those products are the ones who are now bashing the vaping world while puffing away on their cancer sticks too but as soon as their BT manufacture assures them that now that they have entered the market it's "now safe" they will follow like sheep! But again just my thoughts!

No. I stopped buying from BT for a reason. They'd take a great product and twist it. The Pravari is what it is for many reasons. One reason is the USA made parts. Another reason is its quality. BT would lower quality to produce quantity. This is not what avid provapers want nor need!
