That was a steal. I have a feeling some of those VV Grands that show up aren't being used correctly... Seller claimed it took 18650's.

i believe that it can operate off of 18650 (dont have one so i dont know) but it operates better on 2 18350s... i would rather just use a kick 2... a reo grand takes a kick and a 18490...

dont know that i would do it... i love the reo though and dont see myself kicking them anytime soon...

nope. even at that crazy low price, i already have 6 or so VVG/VVWs.

i've heard of ppl using an 18650 in a VVG, but since the circuit used only steps down, rather than boosts, it's kind of pointless, and in fact, would likely to perform less than a pure mech, methinks.

I thought about grabbing that one, or trying to. I'm just not sure about a vv grand . I didn't like the vv tube mods I've had.

I was not pleased with the one very popular VV tube mod, but LOVE the VV grand!! For one call me old fashioned, but I like the ease of the "dial it in" instead of trying to figure out wich button or how many presses etc... I recently knocked my VV Grand off the table and picked it up and away we vaped, not even a scratch on it and no broken or messed up tank to deal with! I actually feel like the deep drip well keeps the 510 connection alot safer.

Quite right Dennis - but you can get a vape off it. I once stuffed an 18700 battery in mine when i didn't take any 18350s with me and effectively tuned a vv into a poor imitation of a mech grand. Any port in a storm and all that...

It is very unusual to see anyone in the REO community engage in profiteering. If anything, Reonauts pass their stuff on at a substantial discount in order to introduce others to this great mod.

I went and took a look. The red metallic VV reo that was for sale 2-3 weeks ago was the old style with the recessed button, and was sold for $100. So yeah, unfortunately it looks like the new owner put it back up in the classies for $175 and also did not show the button side of the mod in the photo.

the second i saw the thread 3 days ago i knew it was a steal... and before i was a member of reo, i saw how quick they went... i thought about jumping on any of the super deals on the "rare" or amazing mods/attys... never did it but i was tempted...
