I have nothing to vote for there. I don't think there should be a law is about all I could say. The rest is up to the restaurant and it's patrons. I don't vape in restaurants nor have the desire to but I think in some it's probably something that is going to depend on the type of restaurant, the atmosphere they are going for and the patrons. I can think of situations where someone vaping near me would be annoying and situations where it wouldn't bother me.

Restaurants never had to let you smoke in them and they shouldn't have to let you vape. If a restaurant allows people to do something that disturbs me, I would vote with my wallet and/or voice my concern to a manager regarding their policies.

In short, I think the government should stay out of it (and most everything else actually) letting these private businesses make decisions about what they want to allow. I disappointingly don't have an internet friendly black and white only rage about this.

I truly feel that many are that ignorant.

How many vapors knew that there was nicotine in their food until we started talking about it?

 Whaaat?? There is nicotine in my food? I knew my food had PG in it? My Vitamin B complex has something related to nicotine, but not actual nicotine. There I learn something as well!

I totally agree with this. It should be up to the restaurant's owner to decide if he wants vaping in his business or not.

Get your “facts” straight! e-Cigarettes are a huge public health danger. The vapor is filled with unabsorbed nicotine and nicotine is a highly addictive drug. Anyone in the vicinity of that vapor will inhale it and become addicted to nicotine. These vapors create a higher nicotine addictive response than regular cigarette smoke. It is the equivalent of standing next to someone that is smoking ..... The vapors alone are enough to turn you into an addict as well."

Troll? Or are people really this ignorant?

-Lord

Unfortanely, I guess I'll take the second option... some people can be that ignorant. And worse still, while they're in that 'intellectual bubble', they will not stand corrected. :glare:

ETA:
On a second thought, I realised I am easily offended by the blatant display of stupidity. Not to mention that stupidity can kill you waaaay faster than vaping, or even smoking.

Sooo... can we fight for a ban on stupidity? Can we? Can we? Pleaaaaaaaaase...

But if we do that, who's going to run the country?

Yeah I saw this as well and was floored, but leads me to believe an article that I have read, and a you tube vid that I posted that trolls are hired to surf the net and sway public opinion. Lol like I have posted before since vaping and seeing all the madness. Yes I now believe in Area 51 false flags, chem trails fluoridated water is poison. Sheesh smdh.

It's the same sort of "I can imagine that ____ is causing _____, so it must be so!" mentality that allows statements such as "inhaling the air in the same space as someone vaping will addict you to their nicotine, faster [drug ref]

For them, it is "simple and common-sense" (which are two words that make my .... twitch, especially if a politician is the one saying them). For her, nicotine is evil and therefor is capable of doing evil things beyond the limits of science or reality.

It's a widespread mindset and different people inject different "things" into the "________ is an evil thing" equation. Calling a thing, an inanimate object or substance "evil" is to give it a personality, an intent, an agenda and a goal. You can put nearly anything into the blank and there are large numbers of people who have their own pet _______, and they truly believe that it IS evil and out to cause death and destruction, even without human interaction or intervention. You name it. Nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, firearms, big cars, HFCS, etc.. the list doesn't end. And you can't convince them that it is they who are being even slightly emotional, irrational, or just taking it "a bit too personally and a bit too far".
