Think it would depend on the roses. I have rose bushes in the back yard with blooms (normal), my peach tree has blossoms on it and my banana tree has bananas (not normal)

My cotton wicks don't seem to stand up even a day to dual clapton coils. Tryin something new this afternoon. Rayon. So far, tastes good. We'll see if it can stand the heat..

I think the Rayon tolerates heat a little better than some of the others. Or at least that has been my experience when using it.

Have about one face cord of oak fire wood to unload. Chopped them up on site and I think I am all set to enjoy the fire place for at least 2 months.

it beats my japanese cotton in heat,not by much, but it does.flavor wise,can't tell the difference.but I ain't made my claptons yet.just got my 26 gauge..runnin/makin em in a few

The first three times, I had these Claptons wicked with cotton. This last time, the cotton disappeared (either burned or disintegrated) from the center of the coil. Rewicked it last night with rayon instead. Will see how that goes. Fused Clapton with dual 26 gauge cores and 32 gauge ribbon. 8 wraps, dual coils, comes out to be 0.15 ohms
And I just wicked these with rayon. 26 gauge core wire with 30 gauge wire wrap. 8 wraps, dual coils, comes out to be 0.36 ohms.
