    OK, maybe 'idiot' was too strong a word, or a mis-used, unnecessary description. He was a silly minded fellow though.. :rolleyes: But he was more so uninformed or uneducated on real basic electrical knowledge.

    I have learned much from this Forum, and I'm glad that he didn't get hurt worse, and nobody else did either.

    I was not aware of that danger before reading ecf. I've also learned of the importance of storing alkaline batteries safely, because, although not as bad, they also can pose danger, which I hadn't known, previously.
