Wrong charger maybe?

Never a bother. That one will work fine for you. The only reason I suggested a twist is so you would have an upgrade on hand if you ever wanted to try something new. I started with a local ecig supplier with a 808 battery then went to the 510 battery which I still use daily. From there I went to an ego and a little while after went to the ego twist ... and the list goes on from there but here we will stop. The ego twist is basically an ego with more voltage settings if you ever needed/wanted. If I would have went with the twist to start I would have gotten everything I wanted in the ego and had room to expand my experience later and saved what I spent on the original ego. Anyway, long story short, that one you linked to will work for you just fine.

Wow, great. I'm thinking I'm going for the ego twist then. Here's the thing tho. I know it's kind of looked down on here, but I haven't advanced yet to filling my own cartos. I know it's costlier but I've been using Blu, Jet and Fin prefilled cartos and so far they've kept me off analogs for almost two months now. I'm happy with staying as I am for another month or two as long as I can improve my battery situation. So if the twist has 510 threads then I can use my current prefilled cartos, right? If that's so then I'll order the twist today! Thank you again for the help!

The Only thing that is Important is Staying Off Analogs. And if Pre-filled Cartos are keeping you off Analogs, that's all that Matters.

The Cool thing about a 510 Battery is that you have Lots of Choices of what you can put on it. Cartos, Clearos, Attys, etc.

Variable Voltage is Nice. It lets you Fine Tune the hit you get.

My advancement just might come sooner tho, just learned from the Connecticut thread here that there's a brick and mortar shop about 15 minutes away from me. Things may get interesting...

Having a Brick & Mortar (B&M) close by is Great. It's nice to be able to Hold things in your Hand verses just looking at pictures

Well, my two eGo-C 1000s should be delivered tomorrow. But today I got the 510 XL and charger from myfreedomsmokes. 3 day delivery. Could not be a happier camper. Fired it up, out of the package without charging, and I'm happily still using it now, five hours later. I'm almost impatient for it to die so I can be sure that it recharges OK. Joyetech makes great product. And freedomsmokes ain't too shabby either! I'm happy. Can't wait to get the eGo-Cs tomorrow. Thanks for all the great advice and education here!

Seven hours now, out of package without charging. Probably would have rotated my old batts twice by now. Just put on charger 'cause draw was a little harder. Got more stuff on order, but I think I'm finding my niche now. Thanks to this forum.

BTW, have a cousin who's going to try to switch over, so I'll be giving her info from what I suss out here, and my wife's best friend has been trying for a while, but can't make a go of it. I'll be trying to impart some of the knowledge here to her. I wish every smoker knew of all this.
Which makes me think of my two grandfathers who both died of cancer and how they would have benefited from all this. Paternal died in the early sixties and maternal in seventies. Maternal Gramps was always an electronic tinkerer. When I was a kid, his basement bench would always have a collection of radios and TVs in various states of disrepair. Resistors, diodes, boxes of weird parts all over the place. I just KNOW he would have loved all this. And maybe have been able to get off the Camels. Too bad this wasn't around then...
