You know, It's interesting. Since I have been vaping liquid nicotine i have discovered something cigarettes did not do. To me this is so much better than a calming effect and that is the raw stimulant effect of nicotine. I LOVE it. I don't want it to calm me down. I use it to speed me up. I can get this effect at 18, 21 or 24 nic. Only e-cigs do it. I noticed it when I like our Op vaped like a research monkey and found myself having trouble sleeping at night. It's defiantly like a caffeine buzz. I'm a coffee lover as it is even in the summer and this effect is stronger than caffeine. I had read that nicotine was a central nervous system stimulant but really never felt it's true effects til I started vaping. That kick is for me.

CigarBabe, just read your post.

To solve my sleeping at night problem I had to cut back on nic levels at night. Perhaps some WTA would help with that. So in an e-cig, I can get my uppers and my downers LOL I think I'll give it a try.

John, the calming effect I speak of is related to hyperactivity and depression. (mentation related). The calming effect is directed towards the brain. Regular e-liquid did nothing for me. Nicotine can have different effects on different people. I get my energy boost from mucuna which targets my dopamine receptors.

it's nice being able to play guitar without reaching to vape every 30 seconds ;-)

I keep looking at this because to keep myself off analogues I have to practically suck on it like a pacifier, constantly, regardless of the strength, and I still crave analogues.so maybe this is an option for me.

It seems like we are trying to make this more and more like an analog, this to me is a bad idea, the more we make it into a tobacco product the easier it will be for the FDA to tax it as such, it seems very counterproductive compared to what the vaping community has tried to do.
They already rules it as a tobacco product. It is better that they tax it then just ban it.

I have to agree for myself anyway I feel like if what I am doind works and i do not want an analog why play with fire? Maybe it wont affect me in any way but why take a juice with little ingredients and add more if they arent needed? Just my 2 pennies on it but I am sure some will want to try the latest and greatest (drink the kool-aid LOL)

All nicotine is from tobacco; just as WTA.

WTA is for people who no matter what flavor, voltage etc they use just feel that vaping doesn't work for them. For a majority, WTA is not needed and best forgotten. But for some it is the only thing that will be an effective alternative.

So to those who feel great with just nic, that's great - but realise that people have different needs. Nicotine is just a part of what tobacco offered.

So, if doing well on just nic, pass WTA by.
If after getting good equipment, not just a trial, cig-like thing, and trying various nic strengths and flavors, you can't avoid an analog, then maybe give WTA a try.

WTA is for 1) people who still smoke who have tried their best with just nic.

It isn;t aimed at everyone, and others who dont need it should not decry it.

So if you don't need it, dont't try it = and don't dish it for those who do.

The difference between vaping and smoking is nothing about nic or WTA; both are far removed from analogs (the alkaloids in WTA that are not nic are no more likely harmful than nic). The thing is to avoid everything else, and the combustion.

WTA is just putting back in something that was lost in the extraction process. It is not for everyone but I think it is the future and can really help.

Yes but no.....

WTA is part of the extraction process its not "just putting back in something that was lost in the extraction process."

Honestly, I know very little about WTA. Vaping nic with no other WTA gives me all the satisfaction I am looking for, so honestly I am a little weary of putting anything else in to my body. Nicotine is one of (if not) the MOST STUDIED chemicals in so far as the short term and long term affects on the human body is concerned. While I am mildly curious about WTA, I'll pass until I see some real hard studies regarding the safety and affects.

I really don't think I want any additives in my juices. No thanks! I like the idea of just getting my nicotine with ecigs instead of all the stuff they put in cigarettes.

WTA has no additives !

It is only the alkaloids from pure tobacco, of which nicotine is one.

If nicotine alone works for you, great; and forget about WTA because you don't need it. But don't idly and cluelessly muddy the water on what could help many more have a safer alternative to smoking, just as you benefit from just nic.

WTA is no combustion, no additives, no tar, ...
